Rick and Morty might end up that way, but right now there are too many 'pointless' episodes that don't develop anyone's character for it to be a top tier cartoon. I just got season 6 and I saw the season 5 recap on the extras but I am confused. I have the season 5 dvds but they don't have half of the stuff mentioned in the recap. Am I just not cool enough to 'get it' and some of the episodes like Jonah dying, or Rusty's dad being the sovereign... like everything from where Gary says "Things have turned around..." The ONLY reason why the producers of the VB changed certain aspects of the show, like the Sovereign not being David Bowie is because of Cartoon Network (same reason why Johnny Quest isn't really Johnny Quest on the show).

Goddamn this show is amazing. It is a GOAT show. A high watermark for animation and storytelling.

by the amount of show that i see in my life this show really have a lot plot in one season, i count it, there is like 7 plot in one season. It really hard to follow but this show make me easy remember all of the plot it have
I saw a friend of a friend at a play once, dude was dressed exactly like Caicias. Red striped suit, glasses, pointed nose and haircut. It was terrifying.

Also I was really hoping that ending with the sovereign's death just been a mild coincidence but hopefully maybe talk about his past to know just who the hell he is did he escaped from Narnia or Pan's Labyrinth weirdo we'll just have to wait and see lol.

The ONLY reason why the producers of the VB changed certain aspects of the show, like the Sovereign not being David Bowie is because of Cartoon Network (same reason why Johnny Quest isn't really Johnny Quest on the show).
