You can also watch Skiesti tutorials, but first go to the more basic tutorials then go to the more complex ones, it will help you a lot to improve, you will get to know mercy better. I don't remember if Zhau has tutorials as well tho, but, watch Skiesti and Zhau, and you will have great examples of gameplay and position!

Illari's healing is boosted if it goes through Baptist's ult box, not sure bout mercy
The only abilities that amplify healing output are kitsune rush, amplification matrix, biotic grenade, and take a breather
