@@PeristalsisActivate nahh man. hardcore follows music theory and shows some type of understanding towards the “needs” of listeners. While beatdown is more focused on heavy hitting drum instrumentals and breakdowns. that’s why it’s called “beatdown”. I can understand your apprehension towards accepting new genres as it can get super annoying to keep up in this style of music, but when instrumentals are a peak part of the genre, it IS important. Beatdowns is focused on down tempo instrumentals while hardcore is focused on mixing down tempo into traditional hardstyle genres.
Edit: if the band themselves identify with beatdown and shows beatdown tendencies: our opinion is null and it’s true they are what they say; as that is their goal.
