@@Ace-cf2ts i don't think there is actually RNG in the new fallen You can try on U-turn or easier like honey valley if u got a vip server ofc U can use normal cowboy or his golden bc he is literally the best tower for solo fallen and new minigun with ranger and bomb you won it (its like 30 mins for 800 coins so eh)
because it is slow, it's hits are inconsistant, it is expensive, it has no stun immunity (pair that with the fact its a short range melee tower), it's freezing is horrible, can't land its max hits most of the time... melee range hard-hitter with stalling and crowd control capabilities. it tries to be a jack of MANY trades but is not good at any of them... you're better off replacing sledge with a tower dedicated to hitting hard (ranger, for example), a tower dedicated to stalling (freezer, cryomancer, frost blaster), a tower dedicated to crowd control (mortar, rocketeer, toxic gunner), or another melee tower for early game (gladiator, warden) also the fact warden exists... a cheaper melee stalling tower that, while lacking sledger's niche crowd control, has really good value and has consistent stuns that allow it to stack more hits before its main target leaves its range
@@shipi7 I wouldn't call it expensive bruh The early levels are cheaper than the old, and the new ones such as level 4 are just 1000$ much more than level 5 and still has almost the same stats; level 5 is basically an extra level since it never existed before. If you were spamming more than one level 1 sledger (unlike this guy who only placed one which resulted in him getting overwhelmed, but did that after wave 15), you would have almost 0 issues with it. You would see that despite it not having freezing until level 3 it's slows like 90% of the enemies speed using it's chill. You would upgrade those all those sledgers to level 2, to level 3, and so on (if you want to).
@@Instinct23-uf1rk that $1k more looks reasonable but you immediately suggest you get more sledgers for them to be consistent. suddenly that 1k turns into 2k, or 3k, or WAY more. sledger WORKS but it's outclassed by just about every other tower that sledger tries so hard to be. one max sledger could've gotten you 2 level 5 engineers, 2 level 4 accels or 2 max minigunners if you don't have those dps towers (all of which have better dps and value than sledger) and you're right, sledger froze just about every enemy! but how often was it? it could only freeze in a very limited area with a limited pierce. cryomancer would've frozen and slowed down a lot of enemies at once, too. frost blaster would've frozen hidden enemies that sledger cannot target. both of these options would've even frozen way more throughout the wave because their higher range allowed them to. they don't have sledger's dps, but they are WAY cheaper, and all that revenue could've went into dps/crowd control towers to make up for it. FREEZER is 71% cheaper than sledger. with freezer's burst, random targetting and multiple freezers placed down, it could dish out a stacking slowness to an even larger amount of enemies... for $30k less per tower.
Sledger definitely needs it's instant freeze back or a buff to make it somewhat viable in strategies again
