8:02 why don't you use the "Personalized" strategy? It uses data collected from the practice sessions to calculate tire wear. It's almost always better than the Projected strategy

It doesn't really change much compared to the original strategy plus Ben always makes up his own strategy anyway.

ADPlayz 1 if you shift right where the second to last light on the rev limiter it helps some also try clutch if you have a wheel.
@@MrDueKing turn the upshift tone on, and start with 'manual with suggested gear and then move to full manual if you want :)
Use the overtake button coming out of corners on the main straights and in short bursts, you'll make it last longer and you'll also maintain the pace for a couple of laps till you get low.

Ben, one way to combat overheating tyres on this year's game is to lower the front tyre pressure's all the way down, and just a bit higher than the lowest on the rear.

I'm not usually into watching games but with the current racing scene all over the place I'm actually intrigued! Genuinely racing at a difficulty level that is truly hard and shows the level of the car makes it so much better, keep watching wanting you to get that first point! Regarding tyre temps - you are correct. The actual working range for tyres in the game is ~95-105 degrees (except for wet weather tyres). I suggest playing around with tyre temps in Practice to find a good set of tyre pressures. (Early suggestion for Spain - front left tyre pressure to a minimum, rear right tyre pressure to a maximum. Will help you getting tyre temps under control in race pace.)

In the final corner, you should be able to rim ride along the top and get momentum for the straight because of the banking in the corner.
I don’t know if that works at Zandvoort, I’m just citing my experience watching NASCAR. The high line along the wall allows you to keep your momentum up because the radius isn’t as tight
Hope you do change from the Orange, its just too close to the McLarens! Love this series though

I always go for 2 or 3 clicks more of front downforce compared to the rear, I find that it really helps the car rotate trough the corners. But, I use stability control

The hard tyre never has overheating issues in my experience. Its operating window is also far higher than the soft. 105 is no issue for hards since its a harder rubber but that can depend on the compound. Its very difficult to get hards to 105 anyway. You should have went mediums. Your pace would have been far better.

One good thing about being at the back is being able to take extra engine parts with no penalty.
This series is literally the highlight of my day
Would recommend trying to see if your own strategy works better than the suggested because I found that the same races give a total bullshit 2 stops when you can have a 1 stop and 3 seconds faster than the recommended 1 stop. also, try to fill in your days as much as possible it helps in the long run.

I think code masters should implement a feature where the game helps you create a good set-up. I really struggle with creating my own fast set-ups. I know it’s really difficult to implement it in the game, because everyone has their own driving style, but I think they can do a similar thing like motorsport manager does. I think it could be really helpful, and not just for lap time, but for tyre temps and wear as well. Plus, that way people will probably spend more time in practice sessions trying get the correct set-up, instead of “stealing” it from other people.
Zandvoort is now my favorite track after driving it in a single practice session
