i have a theory: what if Ojisan wasn't actually too dense to realize Sui had feelings for him? what if he actually wiped his memory of painful things too much and too often for him to even connect the dots. it's not that he's stupid -- he literally can't piece it all together because he wiped his memories. the lesson in all of this could be that you have to learn to live with painful moments, because you'll never know the joys without them.
That's it and another thing, in the manga it is revealed that he uses a spell that reduces emotions, Ojisan uses this skill to not suffer, he implies that would probably have given up on life without these two spells.
Love how sometimes comes a new anime in the seasons that its different, but a hella good different, this one deserves its popularity, at least in my opinion
This is the same guy voiced Toji Fushiguro in jjk, and Takasugi Shinsuke in Geintama. Both are hot badass characters. Takehito Koyasu really has good range.
Only if they didn't skip extra chaps and bunch of scenes, we'd have enough for 2 seasons, but then again, no climax, the dragon was the only big climax that's possible for 1 season, but they didn't do that. You can 100% do it like how eminence in shadow did, 1 season longer than the second one, but Isekai Ojisan didn't have a good condition for doing that because of the pandemic, so there's that.
