  • If your vehicle is equipped with Bluetooth streaming audio, you can access and play audio files from your compatible Bluetooth device through the vehicle's audio system.
It is necessary to set up the wireless connection between a compatible audio device and the in-vehicle Bluetooth module before using Bluetooth audio.
For vehicles equipped with this audio system, perform the following procedure to connect your Bluetooth audio device to the vehicle:
    • Press the PHONE/SEND button on the steering wheel.
    • When prompted, say "Connect Phone",
    • Then say "Add Phone".
    • The system acknowledges the command and asks you to initiate connecting from the phone handset.
    • When prompted for a passkey code, enter "1-2-3-4". This code is assigned by NISSAN and cannot be changed.
For vehicles equipped with this audio system, perform the following procedure to connect your Bluetooth audio device to the vehicle:
    • Press the SETTING button.
    • Next, select the BLUETOOTH key by turning the dial and then press the ENTER button.
    • Select the ADD TELEPHONE OR DEVICE key.
    • The system acknowledges the command and asks you to initiate connecting from the phone handset.
The connecting procedure of the cellular phone varies according to each cellular phone model. See the cellular phone Owner's Manual for details.
Depending on the audio system in your vehicle, press the AUX button or the MEDIA button to access the Bluetooth audio mode.
In some cases, the sound quality is compromised through the Bluetooth connection. If you have this experience, we recommend using the USB audio input, if so equipped.

I have to turn on Bluetooth in my car every time I need to use it. Is there a way to set it to stay on?

I just upgraded to an iPhone 14 pro and my 2014 Nissan Altima won’t Bluetooth to it! Is this a phone issue or car issue?

I just did mine and I have the 14 as well. It might be the phone. Keep your Bluetooth list open on settings for the “my car” option to show. I had to wait like a couple of seconds for it pop up. As soon as you see it, click it and then put in the “1234” code. Hope this helps
