The cells actually divide into two every 20 min , so its basically decreasing . If you have initially 60 cells when t=0 Then you'll have 30 cells when t=1 (which is after 20 min ) I think you solved the questions in the opposite way
If a cell divides into two, that means 1 cell just turned into 2 cells. So each time they divide, you’ll double the number of cells and increase the population of them over time.
