@@hobog An observation - there are still grade crossings - which makes this an existing (pre-TGV) ROW - not new construction. (If you look at the known TGV routes that were scratch-built, there are no grade crossings whatever.) Otherwise, this could easily be transplanted into North America (specifically, the eastern half of the Keystone Corridor of Pennsylvania). Why only the eastern half? Because only that half has been electrified (and by the Pennsylvania Railroad originally, but then improved by SEPTA and AMTRAK (the rest of the route to Pisttsburgh is still under Norfolk Southern control and thus used mostly by freight).
