Brian and Bob are my two greatest influences. I have a 2018 GMC 12ft box truck and built it along Brian's minimal philosophy. All natural wood interior, simple water, no sink, no tanks, but highly functional, all weather ready to go rig. Thanks to both of you for making my dream a reality!
Brian always stayed humble and grounded. A great example of how little is needed to live a happy life. Thanks for all your videos Brian, away we go......
I found Brian years ago, maybe the last time Bob interviewed him, I have been following Brian for a long time, and love his real video, Brian is so down to earth, with no drama. Brian and Brian love it! Thank you for the great videos and knowledge.
BRIANS ADVENTURE IS 1 OF MY FAVORITES!!👍👍BOB IS THE GOAT, & ANOTHER COUPLE CHANNELS THAT HAVE HELPED MY CAMPER LIFE IS TIDELINETOALPINE, AND VANCITY VANLIFE. IM 3 YEARS INTO MY FULLTIME TRUCK CAMPER LIFE , AND IT HAS TAKEN ALL OF THAT TIME TO GET MINE JUST RIGHT. LIKE BRIANS BUILD, SIMPLE AND INEXPENSIVE TO SAVE WEIGHT IS KEY. BUT A GREAT BIG STRONG ELEC SYSTEM CAN SAVE YUR LIFE. YOU HAVE TO INVEST IN A GOOD STOUT POWER SUPPLY. SO AWESOME TO SEE BRIANS RIG FEATURED, HES BEEN AT IT A LONG TIME, 1 OF THE ORIGINALS. THANKS FOR ALWAYS BRINGING US FANTASTIC BUILDS TO STIR OUR OFFGRID PASSION. GOD BLESS👍👍🙏🙏
Yep Brian Rocks i have followed him from the start hes a very cool smart guy and i hope someday i get to camp with him at least 1 time lol life is so fas ,big hugs from MN thank you for sharing its caring.
Brian's one of the most normal dude I've seen doing Van life been watching and enjoying his videos for about year's. Still have 13 more month's before I can cut the bond's from this live and be living as a Nomad. Till then I'll keep on watching Brian and Bob .
Regarding the burt cabinet style.... 1970's i built a cargo box out of 1/4 plywood, interior metal drywall corners, bolted and riveted and silicone sealed, burnt exterior with a propane torch, piano hinge top, and varnish sealed. Had it for years on the back of a Honda trail 90. Kept my high school and college books safe and dry. That burnt wood style was taught in my junior high wood shop.
Looks like this guy solar system he followed the schematics on explorist life very familiar looking. I looked at a converted bus to buy and that's what he did he looked at the plan he downloaded for ten bucks bought the stuff either off of eBay or whatever and he did a fantastic job putting it together being really familiar with it
What a good idea, U-Haul box truck! Totally agree on not hiding the utilities. Just make it part of the decor lol. Thank you so much for the differing opinion about the sink. I've seen so many videos where they say the sink is key. But it seems like a waste of space to me and then you have to deal with drainage and more water. Thank you for this perspective. Super duper helpful. I love the back door it's almost like a patio door.
I've been following Brian (Adventurevanman) since the G20. It's because of this box truck build has inspired me to buy one or build out my own box truck even the trailer to hold my outdoor toys. Adventure on my friends!!!! Away we go... ✌
What do I think? WOW. Look I'm a newbie to this lifestyle. I am still looking for the best rig for me. For now I have a small SUV and a A frame popup trailer. It is working good but this build could be better.
I’ve been watching Brian for ages. He’s always been the leader for how to do the basics. I’ve been watching cheap rv living for about as long, also. Thanks for sharing your wealth of knowledge.
Brian has a fantastic boxtruck. Ihave a boxvan just a bit smaller than his that I am trying to build out. I have been working on it for about 2 plus years hopefully I'll be on the road some day. Money is short and my help is even shorter .
Have followed Brian Adventure Van Man, for years. Am proud to have his three stickers on my van here in New Zealand. A nicer man would be very hard to find. Great to see you here Brian.Wishing Brian, Kelly and Hobo well 🙋🏼♀️🚐🌏💌
This van looks like it has all kinds of room. It's also comfortable and cozy with those beautiful woidtines inside. I like the idea of having the electrical where it's easy to see and easy to access .
I should have thought of it, but never realized how much more work it is for curved walls. I customized my first vehicle, A 1965 econoline Work van and remember the challenges, curves everywhere. I was 16 years old. Now looking at the box truck, I agree, it’s the way to go
I build travel trailers and I've van camped for years at a time when I was younger. I watched this build from the beginning and Brian did a fabulous job. And he's still doing a fabulous job as this kind of thing is really alive and always changing and upgrading. You're never really completely finished with a build. It changes over time with your needs. Brian is a very sharing person. Love his videos and his way of life.
Cool to see a guy on his third build decide to just not put a sink (or a shower) or any water plumbing in his build. I just saw a video where a woman's very nice van build was ruined by water damage from the sink plumbing, and had to be done over $$$! so this makes a LOT of sense. Just have the garden pump up sprayer. Water is also one of the heaviest things to have to carry around, and this method makes one more aware of water use and more water conservative. Nice looking build, too.
I did wood burning many years ago. Coffee table and shelves when my husband and i were just starting out. Still have them 40+ years now. Great to see its still happening. 2 👍 👍 up.
Been watching Brian since first van build. He is the zen master of finding unique and beautiful camp spots. Even on his travels thru the midwest in small towns transiting to and from the beet harvest he found interesting little places to stay in those towns that weren't anywhere near a Walmart parking lot that everyone else said "there's no camping." The video of the two tortises gettin' jiggy in the desert was the best, tho. Love his travel vids and wish him the best.
Great interview and tour, I have seen some of his videos. I agree with the sink idea in that it can create the issue of using too much water. I also plan to do seasonal work around the country when I start nomad life, hopefully soon!
Love seeing Brian doing tours! Also thank you for showing the truck and details in the build on the screen. Sometimes I take notes and write these down.
Great tour and interview Brian ! Happy to see your van is living so good for you. Thanks for all you have done for the nomad community, Happy Trails y'all !
Brian does great tutorials. Great content and nowdays, he's having so much more fun - once Kelly came into his life, his personality bloomed. Still a very nice man, but now livelier and apparently happier. He's someone that just embodies human decency and kindness. Great interview.
Brian's the best. Away we go !
...AND away we go! :)
Lol, now I always say this when I take off in my van 😂😂
Brian and Kelly are both great! They stayed at a campground I was working at in Florida while he was shopping for his box van. Hi to both of you!
ABSOLUTELY 💪💪💪
Looks great enjoy your day 😊
Brian and Bob are my two greatest influences. I have a 2018 GMC 12ft box truck and built it along Brian's minimal philosophy. All natural wood interior, simple water, no sink, no tanks, but highly functional, all weather ready to go rig. Thanks to both of you for making my dream a reality!
WOW, the talent some of the nomads have is incredible. This is a great interview. Magnificent job Brian.
It was great to have some time to get to know you a bit Brian. Hope to see you down the road!
🚐🍃✌🏼
This fulltimer has covered all the basics in his build very nicely. Those straight walls undoubtedly a treat!
AdventureVanMan is one of my favorite channels. And away we go!
Brian always stayed humble and grounded. A great example of how little is needed to live a happy life. Thanks for all your videos Brian, away we go......
Brian meets Brian! 🎉
"Willing to attempt things and fail. " So powerful! Great build. Glad you had helpers and support.
That resonates
Great attitude.
I agree 👍
I found Brian years ago, maybe the last time Bob interviewed him, I have been following Brian for a long time, and love his real video, Brian is so down to earth, with no drama. Brian and Brian love it! Thank you for the great videos and knowledge.
Brian is awesome and I think he has one of the best channels out there. It's nice to see his vehicle featured here.
Brian should interview Bob from Cheap RV Living
He & Bob have worked together on video quite a bit, since he joined Bob here on Cheap RV Living.
Always great to see Brian and tour his rig😊thanks
Brian and his sweetheart are awesome and a huge inspiration
And the adventure continues 👍✌️

Love his minimalist build. The combination of van and trailer are the perfect answer. 😎
Brian is the best. We the AdventureVanMan fans ❤him and Kelly.
Every time I see a U-Haul of this type I think of Brian and his fantastic home driving around the country!
Brian's one of the most normal dude I've seen doing Van life been watching and enjoying his videos for about year's. Still have 13 more month's before I can cut the bond's from this live and be living as a Nomad. Till then I'll keep on watching Brian and Bob .
When U-Haul retires their vehicles, where/how do they sell them?
@@dh6984 Ahh. I’ll check it out, thanks!!
I'm tickled to see the AdventureVanMan! I follow him too 😃👍 !!
Always enjoy seeing your work Brian!

Nice setup and the best choice of a motorcycle ever. The XT250 will serve you well. Take care. 👍🍻

Love box trucks the most, his pass through was perfect. Just dont know if i could afford the gas. Beautiful build and kept it simplified.
Great build!!!
Very nice. Love it!

Besides this channel, I love Adventure Van Man & never tire of it.

My biggest con with commercial rvs is the lack of space for MY hobby. A custom designed unit is the way to go.
A very inspiring video. This guy is having a great life without having to spend $100K.
Great videos. Followed his serenity for years.
I’ve been watching Brian for ages. He’s always been the leader for how to do the basics.

Brian great seeing you and your build. Nice job.❤
Brian seems like good people. I love his Uhaul conversion!! Comfortable to drive, as well!

Brian, Kelly and the new addition! Let the adventure continue, away we go!
Always a treat to see an interview with Brian.
A big fan of adventure van man! Thank you both, this build provides a lot of storage and utility!
This van looks like it has all kinds of room. It's also comfortable and cozy with those beautiful woidtines inside. I like the idea of having the electrical where it's easy to see and easy to access .
Keep in mind the wide angle lens on the camera makes it look way bigger

Really cute and comfortable looking. Good layout of space; I was surprise when we walked in!
Adventure VanMan kicks ass!! Timmy C Arizona
Great interview on Brian! I'd love to see one on Rolling Earthship.
Such a fantastic young man. Thanks for featuring Brian.
So blessed he has that rig. Planned & saved & can now enjoy.
Great interview and tour, I have seen some of his videos. I agree with the sink idea in that it can create the issue of using too much water. I also plan to do seasonal work around the country when I start nomad life, hopefully soon!
Awesome video and build. Hot tips from pros, thanks!

Awesome. The van looks so unassuming from the outside, exactly how you'd want it to be for parking purposes.
AVM is the real deal. Love following his adventures.

Thanks for all you have done for the nomad community, Happy Trails y'all !

This is a great idea! Nice logical setup!
Yes, .... And away we go....👍👍 😊
Brian does great tutorials. Great content and nowdays, he's having so much more fun - once Kelly came into his life, his personality bloomed. Still a very nice man, but now livelier and apparently happier. He's someone that just embodies human decency and kindness. Great interview.

My name is also Brian. We are taking over. 💪
Well, I really enjoyed this video. Thank you for putting this one out.
I already checked it out. I think Bob's replacement will do just fine. I agree with the others that u should do a tour of Bob's new ambulance.
I've learned so much from his page over the years. I'm a year and a half into vanlife & loving it! 👍
Away we go! Thank you.
I like his choice in books.
Brian’s channel is great! I’ve been following him for years. Very zen.
