You two are my favorite travel vloggers. You’re just so down to earth and you take me along to places I can only dream of going. I’ve been watching some your older stuff. Amazing stuff!
I don't understand why you don't have more followers because your channel is absolutely amazing. I'm always excited when I see a new kyde & eric video in my feed. Keep being amazing!
I watch lots of videos about Japan. There are some good TH-camrs but I think yours is one of the most entertaining and SINCERE. I've been in Japan 5 times and your videos make feel really closer to it. I stopped watching you when you moved to Europe but now that you are back in Japan you are on my top list! Thanks and keep it up!
Hey guys! I don't have the readies these days to join in support on Patreon :-( but I do really enjoy your videos. I discovered your channel when you visited Gargrave in Yorkshire, England and I was surfing for interesting places to visit/photograph in my local area. I immediately became hooked! Lots of love from Yorkshire!
Sado was pretty interesting (or at least you made it seem that way). Of all the vids I've seen of Sado, you two gave it more depth and breadth. The panoramic spot where you could see both sides of the "waist" of the island was the Taisado Skyline Tenbo Parking Lot, Niku, Sado, Niigata 952-1308, Japan. The Osado Skyline drive looks wonderful! I like the mix of things you do but definitely appreciate it when you take the time to explain something and why it may be so. Your vids have ameliorated any hesitancy or self-consciousness my wife and I might have had about visiting Japan. Thanks Eric and Kyde!
Great series! You both are like the only Japan TH-camrs who actually explore Japan. You go places and share things that no one else does. Thank you for taking us places most of us will probably never get to go.
I still really enjoy these multi-part trip videos you guys make even after years of watching. I’ve recommended watching you guys to all my family and friends and I’m happy to interact with the videos to keep them in my video feed and maybe get your great content to more people!
Sado has been one of the more interesting and fun series you guys have put out. It's always a blast to see what you two end up finding and I look forward to seeing more!
Hey! I have NEVER stopped watching any of your vids. That's simply impossible. You know, I think I realized what makes me love your work. You two are so addictive with your honesty, the simple approach and the enthusiasm you put into each video. Every time I watch you, there's a huge smile on my face... By the way, I HAVE recommended you to other people so many times. Unfortunately, not many people speak or understand English so that they could enjoy your stuff the way I do. I keep explaining how great you are, hoping someone will start following you. The Sado Island episodes were so entertaining. Pure joy. Take care. Cheers! PS: Eric, you are so affectionate to Kyde, as if you met her the other day.
please keep making videos, I've been watching yall since I was in high school...and now I'm about to graduate college with my BS. I put your videos on a lot of times at night when I'm alone and not feeling okay
I really like this set of videos! Nothing too exciting but I feel like you guys captured the feels in a really slick way. Don't change. BTW mega props to Kyde for spotting the Breath of the Wild scenery, she gets 10 points!
Hey Eric, was listening to a Lolo 2 twitch recording and you mentioned interaction here. You can invite comments in a more organic way by asking questions in the video, like say both you and Kyde have a different fika snack, you can ask "tell us in the comments below which you would pick" and stuff like that. Or if you guys are talking about a certain subject in a video, "tell us in the comments what your favorite X is" or whatever. I think channels ask for thumbs up in a similar way, like "give a thumbs up if you've ever tried to mix cinnamon and water together" hahaha =) been there, discovered the same thing...it seems kinda hydrophobic! loving the twitch content by the way, it feels like I'm just hanging out in your living room; I often have those streams playing when I'm working away at something on my computer
please don't do that, imo that is as bad. In a way worse, because it throughout the video instead of just at the end and feels more slimy to me than be straight up about it.
Wow, imagine how many people spent their lives in those mines. Brutal work. I kept expecting Kyde to get blown away! Yeesh, that's how it gets in Chicago sometimes. I've had to literally hold on to light poles to keep from being knocked down. (Especially when I lived near the lake.)
Great video and after watching you perked me up. Love the laughter and wittiness. Also, I am definitely saving the series for a future trip to Sado Island. Keep up the great work you two!
Thanks for sharing your fun and interesting adventure to Sado island👍I've been a big fan for several years and get all excited when a new video pops up! You guys deserve a lot of new fans🤞
CHANNEL GROWTH HYYYYYPE! I can’t believe it’s been nine years-ish since I found your channel! I hope you are able to get past that algorithm wall and keep doing fun travel stuff (as much as you can, safely, of course). I’ll be looking out for Twitch streams as well-definitely more growth to be had there as well!
I didn't have much culture shock on any of my trips to Japan, but the one that did get me was the hard water, for many of the same reasons. It's just added minerals for health stuff and most I spoke to there swore by it. It was a big adjustment for me.
thank you so much for doing this sado series! i'm doing my research project about sado so all of this footage has been incredibly helpful :) as always, loved watching your adventures! cheers!!
The SeaSucker 4.5" Low Profile Vacuum Mount is a good option for mounting the GoPro on the outside of the car. The difference is that it has pump suction and you can quickly tell by looking if the suction is holding or coming loose. See David Manning's YT review - "This GoPro Mount sucks and I love it!" He really runs it through its paces and it totally holds up (or on!).
Haha, yea, its not something we will be doing often so I'm not too worried about it, if I can make sure it has a secondary way of staying attached I think what we have is enough for the few times we will be using it. -E
Hi. Eric, as you said the topography (/geography) of the island is very interesting, and as it is sparsely inhabited that makes me think it could be a paradise for hiking in the warmer months, with enticing coast-to-coast type challenges.
I wanted to visit Sado when I was visiting Japan but it wasn't practical to do so. I did the Osaka to Tokyo corridor... and I almost went down to Oshima, Toshima or one of those islands south of Tokyo but I needed a break from the constant running about I had done up until that point.
Oh, not sure if more comments make a difference but just trying to get the algorithm to move back in your favor! You guys are one of my favorite channels and I recommend you to lots of people. Can't understand why you don't have hundreds of thousands of followers at the least.
“You looking for a good time? May I tempt you with this display?” (Sees people and a cat hammered drunk) “It’s our last day-“ I THOUGHT YA’LL WERE GONNA BE LIT LIKE THIS FOR A SECOND 😂
I here is my random comment to help, I follow about 6 “Japan TH-cam channels” but yours is the only one I will watch every video for. Even that weird streaming laptop set up one.
Superb video as always, it was great to learn about the real life Dueling peaks! The videos are not just pure crisp entertainment, they are educational as well! :-)
5:30 Eric, if you ever visit the tunnels at the DMZ in South Korea, you will have a 'fun'' time... I'm 6'1'' and I felt like the hunchback of Notre Dame, just so that I didn't continuously smash my head on the very low ceiling (and I mean VERY LOW ceiling lol) of the tunnels.
Really enjoyed the Sado series! I feel like I always learn things from your videos, even when I've been to the place myself. I can't wait to be able to travel again some day, and go visit that taiko dojo.
Just one comment to make your channel grow... Portugal evolved into a powerful nation and naval power during this period. Famous explorers are Vasco da Gama (discovered the route to India), Fernando Magellan (circumnavigated the world), and Bartolome Dias (sailed around Africa). I wonder if TH-cam recommends videos based on the number of interactions or on the length of those interactions? In any case I just wanted to let you know I enjoy watching your long-form style of videos so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, much. You’re one of the most underrated channels out there. Most I have got tired of but not you.
Thanks William! Glad you are still digging! -E
Agree, I just realized how true that statement is. So informative and relaxing, without alcohol no less!
I interacted, I did my part ! Eat it people who called me anti-social !
Lol, great video as usual guys.

Thanks! No worries on Patreon, just keep enjoying the videos! You have no shortage of beautiful places to photograph in the Yorkshire area. -E
I got some interaction going on here. "C'mon TH-cam start suggesting Kyde and Eric to more people, they deserve it".
Thanks!
TH-cam is crazy. This is the best channel, with more smiles and laughs of any TH-cam channel. Good job Kyde and Eric?
I so so enjoy these adventure videos into Japan. Sado looks like a city out of a fairytale, very beautiful!
Sado was pretty interesting (or at least you made it seem that way). Of all the vids I've seen of Sado, you two gave it more depth and breadth. Great series! You both are like the only Japan TH-camrs who actually explore Japan. You go places and share things that no one else does. Thank you for taking us places most of us will probably never get to go.
Thanks! We just like to explore so it's easy to make content about that. -E

For sure, love your content. Your videos are super good for getting over the quarantine no-travel-allowed blues.

Yea, haha, we aren't very good at youtubing. We don't really think about that stuff when we are filming. Glad you are digging the twitch streams! -E
Solid idea, good thing to stick in the end card!
@@kydeanderic Even if you forgot to remember that stuff during filming, you could somehow add that while editing it. Win win!
please don't do that, imo that is as bad. In a way worse, because it throughout the video instead of just at the end and feels more slimy to me than be straight up about it.
On the other hand, asking questions the answers to which you're not really interested in can come across as disingenuous and off-putting.

I always enjoy your videos, living the dream!

Make a video on what kind of things you can get that suction cup to stick to! Another great video. Thanks!
Hahah
Your Video Had the Rachel and June Ad for Bokksu in it 2nd time I seen it here in Arizona in 2 weeks

Love watching you two... all about that low budget travel advise.
Here's anything.. lol. Looking forward to more adventures...
Thank you for what you do guys, keep it up :)
Short-haired Kyde is also cute!
Also, thanks for digging up that 4-year-old footage -- I'm sure that was some kind of ordeal
Haha, not a big deal, I have everything pretty organized. -E
Oh, not sure if more comments make a difference but just trying to get the algorithm to move back in your favor! You guys are one of my favorite channels and I recommend you to lots of people. Can't understand why you don't have hundreds of thousands of followers at the least.

Love the video! Keep it up. You’re some of the best youtubers out there!
An other great series thanks guys looking forward to the next on stay safe 🏴👍
Thank you for the great videos! I really enjoyed the Sado series :)
Love your videos, hope more people can find your channel
“You looking for a good time? May I tempt you with this display?”

“It’s our last day-“
I THOUGHT YA’LL WERE GONNA BE LIT LIKE THIS FOR A SECOND 😂
Haha, we tried to buy some of their drank, but they didn't have any! Clearly you have arrived at a party too late if the pets are wrecked. -E
You know the party is lit when the cat ends up drunk too.
Sado! I'm planning a rather large trip to japan and now I've got this area on the list of places to see about :D
Nice 45 minute vacation from snowy Stockholm. See you next week 👍
Great videos as always! Thanks!
I love you guys! Great show!!!
Always love to watch you two

Excellent series Kyde and Eric 👏😃
Omg that crested ibis bread 🤣 it's amazing.
haha i know. how did the staff not laugh at it haha
Love your vids. Please don' t change.
Eric is SO me, with his never-appropriately-dressed-for-the-weather/surroundings self!
HAPPY HAPPY JOY JOY
8:18 I feel like Eric got Green Screened for this section of the mine shaft.
Haha, maybe *all* our stuff is green-screened. -E
Haha, yea, been there, I know what you mean. -E
Thanks for this wonderful video👍
Really enjoyed the Sado series! I feel like I always learn things from your videos, even when I've been to the place myself. I can't wait to be able to travel again some day, and go visit that taiko dojo.
Glad you enjoyed! Hope its not too long before you can go hit the taiko!

Just one comment to make your channel grow...
Portugal evolved into a powerful nation and naval power during this period. I'm surprised I'd never seen this little series before.

Great video Kyde and Eric
Tune on in for Eric, "crunching a nut," followed by Kyde "eating an eyeball.," and more rare birds in a storybook land. I love this channel! I think the lack of travel to Japan is a factor in people not searching your videos. If you search people to follow you like, they may follow you back too. Hope your videos get recommended more soon...your niche content, nobody has a channel like yours so...
good stuff
