    I love this Tim, I have trained Kick Boxing for 2 years, and then Jiu-Jitsu for one year, long time, and even being a female it makes me strong minded again just by watching you guys, I just want to go back to training again, please do more videos like this, God Bless!

      Literally all they’d have to do is raise up their heads, I know it’s not that simple when those people are that good, but that the base of not getting choked by that specific submission during a double leg is just easing your head

      @@twitchmain4192 It's different when you're trying to protect your chin from strikes. I favor the tackle but it's a good idea to shrug your shoulders after and get a hand up around the neck area. Guillotines are crazy fast on the receiving end. It's much harder to sprawl out of the tackle which is why I like it over the traditional double leg.

    Personally, I learn jiu jitsu best from those who speak with a Brazilian accent, or their first name is Steven and their last name sounds like Seagull. I will, however, accept some training from Mr. Kennedy, as he seems to have picked up some of the art.

      Do it man, it definitely compliments firearms training especially if someone rushes you and ties up before you can draw your weapon. Plus it will get you in great shape too.

      If you can find a Judo school that practices newaza/ground techniques as much as the standing, you'll be good and won't have to cross train. BJJ is easier on the body though but your takedowns, you'll need cross training.

    Pray you never have to use this in real life . I have 3 X it works. Be prepared to live with hurting people who have no clue what they started , then they live with a disability for life . it not tough to hurt people it's tougher to live with what you did

    Yes, pulling the head down is indeed hard. Pulling by hitting (like with a palm strike) his head down is what WILL work. It's the shock effect (pain, dizziness, sudden loss of control and trying to gain it in a second).

    watching this as a wrestler, I've drilled these types of takedowns for years, which is the beauty of wrestling. I want to try Jiu Jitsu now to supplement my grappling, and become a more well-rounded fighter.

      You teach jiu-jitsu to a wrestler and you have a killer. We have some college wrestlers in our gym and they are absolute killers.

    Use keys to eye gouge. Get up off the ground and... Run away! Run as fast as you can. Because you don't know ground fighting. And dealing with 5 oh is never a good idea.
