In the Shed with Simon Neesam, Breeder & Exhibitor of Abyssinian, Peruvian & Self Golden Guinea Pigs

Whilst on Holiday in the neighbouring county of Norfolk, we took a little detour to spend an afternoon with my good friend Simon Neesam, who is a long-time breeder and extremely successful exhibitor of Guinea pigs; he has kept Agouti, Tortoiseshell and Whites, Peruvians and Abyssinians.
He holds many important positions within the cavy fancy and is a judge for many breed and area clubs.
i had a lovely time learning about the Abyssinian, of which there will be a future breed in focus video.
I would like to thank Simon for his hospitality and generosity in letting me take some footage of his set up and cavies.

Rewatching this video, amazing of course. Me and my mum are interested in taking up Peruvians! Bit different from our agouti piggies but we have both had our own longhairs in the past and have some longhair pets currently so I think we can pull it off! Very fascnicating breeds, always getting lots of comments and interest from the public!
