If you want harmonies from the Beatles, there are many great songs, but you can't go wrong with the following 4 songs (they may not be among their best known, but are good examples of 3 part harmonies): "This Boy", "Tell Me What You See", "Yes it is" and one of their true masterpieces, "Because"
One of the best things about the Beatles is that as they progressed they improved and took another step up. To the point where the next release sounded different from anything else.
A great early Beatles rocker. John really shreds it on his vocals here. This is off their Second album. Please Please Me was on their first. Nice one Harry.
You notice the lyric reads, It won't be long til I belong to you. Typically, it would be the other way around - you belong to me. Part of the distinct and wonderful songwriting.
Another thing they did that was very ‘egalitarian’ - is referring to the objects of affection- their love songs often refer to “my friend “ - non-gender specific, which I love. -
what made The Beatles so revolutionary is they reversed roles. This was before Feminism really started. The woman has the power and that's the natural balance in relationships.
@@HarriBestReactions There is an excellent cover of "It Won't Be Long" in the Beatles related movie "Across the Universe." This is it: th-cam.com/video/5gY-bsLtcAQ/w-d-xo.html
One of the ( many ) great things about the Beatles is how their music changed as they progressed both personally and artistically such that there are somewhat distinct " periods " to their music.
I grew up listening to the Beatles when they first came to America. Many early fans thought they knew what the Beatles were supposed to sound like and were surprised by their maturity and growth. Later people had to come to terms with Beatles as solo artists. I enjoy the idea that the Beatles can still surprise people. And dipping into the deep catalog of Beatles music is a different experience from waiting for a new single or album. It's all good.
In order to really appreciate The Beatles you really should listen to their entire albums in chronological order. You get a better appreciation for how quickly they progressed over a relatively short period of time.
We as a family always watched The Ed Sullivan show which played on Sunday evenings! We discovered Elvis this way and then came the British Invasion especially The Beatles & our lives were changed forever ! Growing up with such fantastic music from the 50’s, 60’s,70’s is what shaped my love for music, as well as my parents music from the 40’s with the crooners 💜 When The Beatles split up, I thought the world was falling apart but the wonderful thing is they carried on with their own special sounds! My heart was broken when John died and then dear George but what is wonderful is we have their music 💎💎💎☮️

Your feelings are understood. I was 13 when the Beatles hit the U.S. airwaves so, you can imagine, I've been steeped in their work quite thoroughly over the past 6 decades and I know there's material that they produced that I've never heard. But I have lived through the anticipation for their next 45 single and certainly jumped on every album that came out. I identify the Beatles work as the Beatles because I've heard and loved so much of it. I'm sure that after you've listened to their work from the early days of their fame through the present they'll sound like the Beatles to you no matter which work you hear. Their forte, especially Paul, was the adaptation of styles and sounds that they were influenced by growing up. John seemed to push the envelope of styles while Paul took the apple of a style and polished it to shine like the sun. John was generally more gritty but had honed his musical chops to a razor's edge. Too bad he's not still here giving us something I'm sure would be pure John. Love them both and all. Please keep your exploration up.
When it comes to the Beatles they have about 8 really fast tracks and when played together one after the other, you really realize what rockers they really were. No one comes close.
The Beatles composed, together and separately, over 200 songs. They never repeated themselves. Every song was different and unique. I like your reactions. Forget the negative comments. Keep on enjoying yourself!
From all their early work, this was always my favorite. I think due to the only C chord in a C# m key signature, which feels a bit out of place when you hear it for the first time. But it sounds amazing once you hear it for the 2nd time. They were so good at that, opening new doors in music even this early.
Even though it's impossible to pick just one favorite Beatles song, mine may well be "I Feel Fine" -- which usually isn't among the ones that many choose.
Harribest, never apologize for stating your opinion. Haters gotta hate. Actually your impression of Don’t Let Me Down as a cover is a compliment to the Beatles, as it proves how many different genres that they moved to and from seamlessly. And loved this reaction too. Peace.

Nice choice. This album was recorded live in the studio (on 4-track tape), so it naturally sounds like a well-rehearsed club performance. Very few overdubs on this album, and no special recording effects as we think of them nowadays.
Another terrific song, love that you love their harmonies, there is a song called 'Because' the lyrics are simple, but you can enjoy the perfect three-part harmony, which is believe to be only reserved to members of a same family, but these lads succeeded as in many other things, even withouth being related.
This boy , oh Darling ! , across the universe , nowhere man just to mention a few . One thing I recall about the Beatles is every time they released a new album it sounded nothing like the previous album , they changed dramatically and so quickly
I'm the same way about hearing the first bars and knowing it's the Beatles. But also Paul McCartney. Paul always has a lot of base in his solo career songs, even more so than in the Beatles. And he has a particular way of playing. I can hear that base and know right away it's a Paul McCartney song.
Note the fantastic leap from "Please Please Me" to "With The Beatles" LPs. Those who constantly recommend "The White Album" and "Abbey Road" have never bothered listening to their earliest LPs. Oh -- yeah: they also recommend "Revolver" because so many others recommend it.
You have a great attitude. Keep on doing what you're doing, exploring and having fun. I did the same thing, only very long ago. It's a great voyage my friend.
A very good morning Harri, Absolutely no need to apologize for anything whatsoever Harri! You couldn't have made your case any clearer. Late to the party here, but I just had to say that I'm not that high on some of these "remastered" versions of Beatles songs. I know and like the original of this song. I think you missed out somehow by not hearing the original mix. I'm pleased that you're intending to become familiar with these guys.
(I'm not saying he died! But I've spent 6 years looking at video/photo documentation and it is a different guy; from Strawberry Fields onward up until 2021.)
Hi Harry love your channel and reaction to the Beatles songs 🎵 I've enjoyed your enthusiasm good vibe outgoing personality charm. If you please when you have a chance Could you play the Beatles "I've got a feeling" off the let it be album... I think you may find it a great rocker Song to listen to... take care Harry. Thank you.
John had hoped that 'It Wont Be Long' would be The Beatles follow up single to She Loves You. With its call/response ''YEAH" echoing its redressers catch phrase "Yeah Yeah Yeah, John Lennon admitted that it fell well short of She Loves You in quality. But It Wont Be Long's atmosphere is pure Beatlemania. Probably why it was used as the 1st song on the forthcoming With The Beatles LP. Another connection to Please Please Me is the dual meaning of the same word. John and Paul loved that little trick. Please Please (Beg/Satisfy) . it won't BE LONG till i BELONG. As for critics Harri, consider the source. What's most important is for you to be yourself. Take care, RNB
don’t take any negative comments bother you just let that bad energy bounce off you like a ballon. some people suck. c’est la vie i love your reactions 🙏🦋🌞💜
Music is one thing that you cannot create judgment, it is a bias place as well as a state of mind. When a person listens to a specific genre of music, its mainly for a reason a lot d they relate to particular songs
Lennon rewrote "It Won't be Long" into the much better "Any Time at All" from the A Hard Day's Night album. Check out that song. Nils Lofgren from the E Street Band liked it so much he covered it.
Harri, plz react to my favorite Beatles' song-"Strawberry Fields Forever" !!!!!!!! From the Magical Mystery Tour album- trippiest album of all; continuing where Sgt. Pepper began.
It just occurred to me that this song illustrates a basic difference between The Beatles and The Stones. The Stones would have written and sung "til you belong to me", not "til I belong to you".
The Beatles had about 4 "generations" of music and this was part of their first generation. To decide which are the four generations, you'll need to listen and study their albums (and singles, since their record company insisted they churn out singles that weren't on albums for several years). That's part of the fun with the Beatles. I'd also recommend you see fan reactions of their early shows - the film HARD DAYS NIGHT - while a fictional tale - had very true 'fans at concerts/fans on the streets' reactions. The ED SULLIVAN TV SHOWs - fairly poor video and audio - offer the same perspective. Just notice the sea of screaming girls. THAT is what influenced soooo many young guys - "I gotta git me a geetar and have girls screaming over me!!" And when those peer musicians and that next generation are interviewed, they will giggle over the "girls" attactions.
Harri THANK YOU my fav Beatles tune(s) tied for first are not the ones that would have bought the House, or the Car,or the what ever. and some of the Beatles fans fav songs are not ones I really like, but they are as intitled to their favs as I am to mine. But some fans act like they think you are some kind of moron because you dont like the same ones they do
Just keep on doing what you're doing & don't take criticism to heart. There'll always be someone who professes to know more about The Beatles than you or I do, the ubiquitous 'big nose who knows' but it's all subjective in the end.
It's a shame you were made to feel you must explain yourself; well-played, though. The Beatles did evolve as performers, writers, and producers radically and at speed through their brief years together. The surprisingly complex song "Ticket to Ride" is roughly midway along that growth and reflects much of their early jangle and the directions in which they were heading. You might choose to hear it out as a watermark piece.
Thanx a lot Matt..but i get it that fans are very protective.I am.a fan too..i might not know as much as the super fans..but they didnt become superfans in one day too 😀😀
It's the way you feel, that's totally fine. However, once you hear much more of the Beatles, you will likely feel different. Their range is vast. No crucifying aloud though.

Now you've got on to the early great ones! YES! Now I hope you'll do All I've Got to Do.
I love that second repeated fuzz bass riff, or whatever effect, after the 'till I belong to you' part.
This boy , oh Darling ! , across the universe , nowhere man just to mention a few . One thing I recall about the Beatles is every time they released a new album it sounded nothing like the previous album , they changed dramatically and so quickly
It is similar to Please Please Me. It has that “club energy” of the live performances that they were doing those days.
wow..many years since I first heard this one. It's still so good.
The song that got me into the Beatles
More Beatles please. Love the deep cuts. Good job!
You have a great attitude. Keep on doing what you're doing, exploring and having fun. I did the same thing, only very long ago. It's a great voyage my friend.
Thanks, will do!
A very good morning Harri,
Absolutely no need to apologize for anything whatsoever Harri! You couldn't have made your case any clearer. We love you dearly and you are simply a music loving and fairly well rounded (you're getting there) musical critic and I absolutely respect your personal views. Possibly Confucious, maybe not, but someone said "a journey of a thousand miles begins with but a single step".
Again, NO NEED for an apology of any kind.
All the very best to you and all those you hold dear and a Happy upcoming New Year,
Terry
If I fell.
great two part harmony
You are doing a great job 😎 thanks
Siir Harri, it is my real pleasure to visit with your great channel. I was 14 in Atlanta when they invaded the world. Saw them in Atlanta Stadium. Blah blah. Best on the TH-cams. Haha.
Really tight. I like “I’m going to Kansas City”. Also an earlier release, a rocker.
I'll check it out!
thanks for the feel the way you feel my fav Beatles tunes were not the ones that most people liked
Right thing to listen to Beatles songs, studio version rather than live.
It is an EARLY Beatles song. That is why it Songs like Please Please Me, BUT there was Nohing like it at the time....1964
I am a bass player from liverpool. Mccartney is a huge influence on me as a player.
I’m pretty good at what I do.
I love your videos harri because it breaks me out of my own psychological constraints because I want to listen to music I’ve never heard before just to see how it makes me feel
Rock on!😀😀✌🏾
Late to the party here, but I just had to say that I'm not that high on some of these "remastered" versions of Beatles songs. I know and like the original of this song. I think you missed out somehow by not hearing the original mix. I'm pleased that you're intending to become familiar with these guys.
I enjoy your posts.. they are brilliant
Yep, This Boy
You have to bear in mind Paul McCartney was replaced in October 1966. So the albums from '67 onward were very different.
(I'm not saying he died! But I've spent 6 years looking at video/photo documentation and it is a different guy; from Strawberry Fields onward up until 2021.)
Yes it's from the UK With the Beatles and also on the U.S. Meet the Beatles (both the UK and US albums had the same album cover)

Hi Harry love your channel and reaction to the Beatles songs 🎵 I've enjoyed your enthusiasm good vibe outgoing personality charm.
If you please when you have a chance
Could you play the Beatles "I've got a feeling" off the let it be album...
I think you may find it a great rocker
Song to listen to... take care Harry.
Those f... geniuses.
Great guitar work. Great singing. Hooks. What's not to like?
I Love it!!!!!!!
don’t take any negative comments bother you just let that bad energy bounce off you like a ballon. some people suck. c’est la vie i love your reactions 🙏🦋🌞💜
I hope you’re feeling better!!! Please react to a very early Queen that is wonderful. It’s White Queen live at Hammersmith Oden 1975. Beautiful song
Love this Album! I stole it from my big brother. Of course I gave it back to him, but he said I scratched it lol.
Please react to Beatles, Hard Days Night, If i Fell, I should Have Known, Can;t Buy Me Love, Tell Me Why, And I Love Her,
I’m hearing things in this version that I didn’t hear in the original vinyl!
All I Gotta Do is the next one on the album, I believe.
Harri, plz react to my favorite Beatles' song-"Strawberry Fields Forever" !!!!!!!!
From the Magical Mystery Tour album- trippiest album of all; continuing where Sgt. Pepper began.
Well met.
Every is song is derivative of derivative.
Cheers.
😀
@@HarriBestReactions laughing, are we?
@@nononobutyeah Not laughing at you..far from it..I consider that a smile..If you think it was laughter...my apologies
I’m loving your reviews, tho I admit, some of it’s your accent. Love the Beatles too - and love your attitude
Thank you kindly..i take all the compliments..im.a greedy man 😀😀
You're doing fine harri, ignore the smart arses, (probably from london) lot of smart Alec's there
You are good Hari
Harri your reactions are great. I'm glad I found your channel. Question: I'm guessing you didn't grow up in LA or Glasgow - what is your accent?
Harri THANK YOU my fav Beatles tune(s) tied for first are not the ones that would have bought the House, or the Car,or the what ever. and some of the Beatles fans fav songs are not ones I really like, but they are as intitled to their favs as I am to mine. But some fans act like they think you are some kind of moron because you dont like the same ones they do
Harri, did you ever react to "Rain?" I can't find a reaction video from you on that one. It's an awesome song.
Just keep on doing what you're doing & don't take criticism to heart. There'll always be someone who professes to know more about The Beatles than you or I do, the ubiquitous 'big nose who knows' but it's all subjective in the end.
Thank you Richard..you cant please everybody
Trivia bit: Sgt Pepper album was the first one to have the lyrics printed on it.
Thanx a lot Matt..but i get it that fans are very protective.I am.a fan too..i might not know as much as the super fans..but they didnt become superfans in one day too 😀😀
May I suggest that you try to listen in date order so as to see how they progressed. This one is very early but still a good one.
It's the way you feel, that's totally fine. However, once you hear much more of the Beatles, you will likely feel different. Their range is vast. No crucifying aloud though.
I agree..which is why i am on a quest for more knowlegedge
you should watch a movie called "Across the Universe" cool movie featuring Beatles music...... I'm sure you'll love it !!
... and the period in time, with the Vietnam War and general unrest.
your right it does sound something of Please Please Me
