Paul McCartney is still amazing after all these years and is without a doubt, an international treasure. No one else can possibly match his inimitable and timeless talent.Peace.....
Playing this to my newborn and he loves it. Calms him down and puts him to sleep. What a beautiful song. I'm so happy it will now be forever intertwined with my baby boy for me.
4 years have passed and now this song makes me miss my little boy being a baby. He still loves this song and he'll always be my baby. I have another on the way and I can't wait to share this song with him as well. Thank you so much Paul
Holding my 7 month old baby, putting him to sleep with this song like I did with his brother. But now I'm sad because this baby will be a big boy before you know it and then all my babies will be grown up :( Cherish every moment while they're little!
While in quarentine mode, was just watching "Jerry McGuire" with the family. This Paul McCartney song came on in the background and googled it for my son. One of my all time McCartney favorites, brought to life with amazing slideshow/graphics. Thank You!
Man...this takes me back. Great song and a great video. I first heard this in 1970, when I was 15...I am now 66 and I still love this album. I think Paul`s dog was called Martha...as in Martha My Dear from the Beatles White album. Thank you for this nostalgic trip back in time.
Glad you enjoyed it and thanks for the comment. I must have first heard it in 1973 when I was 12, and like you I still love it. After all these years, every time I hear it, it takes me vividly back to the days when I first remember listening to it...swimming and goofing around with my cousins at their house on the river at our grandmother's ranch and riding around in the rain down along the riverbed. Thank God we have music to keep us sane? I know I'd crack without that refuge. Stay safe.
It's a beautiful video. Thank you. I miss Linda. I cried like a baby when she passed. She was the wisdom in Paul's soul and the funkiness in his sense of humor. Rest In Peace, Linda.
Can't believe I've only recently found this excellent & heartfelt Macca Melody, especially being someone who fills their life & world up with needless "Junk!". This is ten times the tune that Free as a Bird is, beautiful.
Another example of Paul's extraordinary talent. Very happy you found this tune...even if you're about 50 years late?!? ;-) Thanks for watching and for taking time to comment!
If I think about it, I feel sorry for his kids ... after all when kids go through that phase where everything their parents do is uncool ... how can McCartney's children justify feeling that - they'll never be as cool or loved as their dad. Here is a guy who has really the best life. His work brought joy and pleasure to millions from the time he was a kid almost. How lucky and talented can one man be?
Fantastic work on all the 'X-Beatles' songs that you have done. I have liked them since I first saw The Beatles in 1964. This one is special to me because it was when I first met my late wife in 1970. Good memories. Thanks.
They say it’s better to have loved and lost than to have never loved at all. McCartney is the true gentleman that has survived it. This song never made it on the white album?! What were they thinking.
Wonderful video...love it that you combined both versions, the instrumental version is so beautiful...so amazing that Paul played all of the parts himself...Thank you ~~~
Well, staying on the ground I´d say among the first releases (of the four) it´s George´s "All Things Must Pass", not to forget "Imagine" ... and later Paul made some great (and overall better) albums ... but this one has some great songs on it, like Junk, Maybe I´m Amazed and Every Night. On the other hand some stuff is nice, but either experimental (Glasses, Kreen-Akrore) or barely finished (Oo You, That Would Be Something) ... and sorry, I can´t stand Teddy Boy ... but usually I love Paul.
Thank you very much for such nice words of support and encouragement....they mean alot! Happy you've enjoyed some of the vids....best wishes to ya fellow music lover!
