Etch Primer, is acidic, that is why it doesn't stick to painted surface, like the rig. If it did stick to the rig, then they'd have to replace the rig after a few cars since paint is heavy. Or risk damaging the robot. Etch Primer makes tiny scratches on the metal for it to stick. The following paint then can stick to the Etch Primer. Normal Paint do not stick well to bare metal.
You can see the difference in the work force from the Americans. These folks are all clean cut with nice uniforms & the Americans look like they just woke up from trailer park on these videos.

The Taycan is the most beautiful ev out there right now. But the upcoming Mercedes EQS / EQE beat it in range at around 400 miles versus only around 200. Porsche needs to fix that. From my experience owning an ev, 200 miles is the bare minimum - yes, you rarely drive even 100 miles a day but I find myself charging it all the time to ensure I don't get stranded. Remember, a gas car has about 300 mile range on a single tank. EV should have at least the same range, if not more.
@Zee Lee Do you own an electric car? How do you know if range is not important? So, it's OK to drive an electric car with only 50 mile range? So that you get stranded on the street because your commute to and from your work is 60 miles, not 50? Man, you make absolutely no sense!
But you don't go to the gas station and fuel it up every day or when it gets below a 1/4 tank? I've been evaluating getting a new Ford Lightning with a 230 mile range which would be fine with 99.99% of all my trips.
