It's actually very admirable of Jion's parents to address the issues they're concerned about and not be afraid to admit that there may be problems with their parenting methods. It's very brave of them to do all of this in front of the camera and to the public, which could be informative to the other parents who are watching this show. I wish them good luck with everything in the future !

I agree with you.. this show is not for just some cuteee cuteee scene like that.. I think this show is more on how to communicate with your child as well as with yourself also as a parent. Been watching this entire show since the first episode up to untill now
The triplets have such an amazing relationship with their dad. He disciplined them well, and they are such intelligent , well mannered kids. They know when enough is enough and are polite. sure they probably do have moments when they aren't behaving. But they truly are so damn adorable and well tempered.

Yea same. I understand how Sarangs still young, but I think it's important for shiho and sunghoon to not just let sarang win every time she starts crying so they can teach her how to deal with losses and just being a good sport (because there will eventually be a day where she won't win something) but then again I'm sure both shiho and sunghoon knows Sarang better to know the way to educate her. This is my opinion based purely on the way I see how the editors of this show show how Sarang reacts when she starts losing.

My favorite is the triplets, but I always finish watching the whole thing and I love all these families. Jion is leaving, I'm sad and happy for her at the same time. Uhm Taewoong & Jion may not be the most "entertaining" family out there, but the problems of this family is a great example of what newly-formed families would face. I actually think Jion's part in this episode is actually the best since she joined the show. It's great that both Uhm Taewoong and his wife are reflecting their parenting methods on Jion. Tbh, nowadays, it's not easy to get both parents to get involved in parenting. Happy that Jion won't be facing all those horrible comments, and she can grow up peacefully without any public scrutiny . Wishing this family all the best!
yes! it's great being able to see a different representation of a new family. It's not always fairytale perfect and issues such as Jion's development is completely normal to deal with. maybe that's why they are leaving the show, to focus more on her.
I always feel mesmerized by conversation between the twins. They've grown so much I cannot believe it :') It's been almost 100 episodes since their first episode where they were still babies and couldn't even talk. Feel so good to be able to see them growing up ^^
when the triplets and the 5 siblings are introducing themselves they look like they are in a classroom and it's the first day of classes. donggook appa and ilgook appa look like the teachers lol hahahaha
+Operation D.I.P. Is it just me or Jion has development problems? In terms of speech, interaction with others as well as mental growth. I am just glad both parents realised that they are not parenting right and has decided to seek for help. Even as a viewer I am quite worried with how she doesn't speak (as compared to Seoen and Seojun) and how she doesn't seem to like to play even though both her and Sarang are the only kid in the family. Made me realise parenting is not easy, and how no one are born parents, but everyone tries their best to give the best to their child. :')
I notice that too, from the beginning. Tae Wong keeps blaming himself for having kid at late age, makes me sad and worried too since I've always thought I don't wanna have kids too soon :(
+Operation D.I.P. mte, I learn a lot fom Jion and Taewoong. since my niece is spoiled and hard to discipline. tho they're awkward at first but I can see how Taewoong adjusted himself to be a good father for Jion. My Mum said there's no a manual book to raise a kid because they're different each other even it's siblings, being parents is everyday learning. learn to understand, communicate, teamwork and deliver the feelings.
LOL , the last part, Jion and banana. That's so funny. The way she ask for help, and those clothes make her even more adorable ... The other girl was like "what's wrong with her" =)) I mean that was a heartbreaking scene but the ending was good =))
I'll miss Jion so much, she's like a breath of fresh air from the craziness of the other kids. I really admire that her parents are taking the effort to see a professional, most people would continue to make mistakes in raising their children without checking to see if they'll develop properly.

Does anyone else feel like they should discipline and teach Sarang better? She gets upsets whenever she loses to Yuto, others, and even her mom. Her dad coddles her too much by letting it go and giving her a second chance for a rematch. I know she's little, but these are really bad habits to have growing up. It's gonna be a harder/harsher wake up call later on.
No I agree, I love all these kids on the show, but sarang has the habit of crying and throwing a tantrum when she loses. I really love her, but her dad also needs to be strict at some times. Yes, she is still a kid, but if you keep doing things her way, she'll end up being a girl/ woman who will throw a tantrum when she's loses everytime, etc.

Ronica Dey I have two little sister. As the oldest, I remember I got always scolded and I rarely got what I wanted since my family didn't have money at that time. I'm 12 yrs older that the youngest and I can say, we have money to spend on "fun". She is now around 6 yrs old and she got spoiled mad since birth. When I scolded her for touching my things, my mom told me not to scold her since she was younger. Compared to my other sister and I, she cries more when she does not get what she want and she throws a tantrum. And those tantrums are frickin amazing tbh. It may be only my sister, but when you keep this habit when you're older and on your own, people come to dislike you. So I don't want that to happen to my lil sis nor to Sarang. But yeah, maybe she'll get used to it.. (damn long text, sorry lol)

I feel a bit sad that Jion is going to leave the show. I really like Jion and her parents as I learn a lot from them. They're always trying to be their best. They're not perfect, but is there a perfect parent out there? I just hope when my turn comes, when I become a parent, I'll be open to ask for help and to strive to be better each time. I tend to skip Sarang's parts the most whenever she's playing a game. I know she's a kid and all, but her crying repeatedly whenever she loses a game is unbearable for me.

It hurts me to see any of the children and adults cry, so I couldn't bear it. Since Sarang cries many times whenever they play games, I wince. I also wince whenever anyone else cries. I understand they're disciplining her, Jesus Christ. I've never said I wanted her to act like a mature teen/adult. I only said it was unbearable for me. @@Darling6555 it doesnt matter how many horrible kids are out there or how flawed our upbringings are, we should all aim to dscipline our kids as best as we can and as best as they deserve, which means we should aim for perfection. An important part of what it means to be a society and a community is to call out such behavior in a kid so this is not seen as normal behavior. because kids should not behave like that normally. The whole point is to positively punish and reward certain behaviors. We should note and praise good behavior of kids and reprove bad behavior.

If Akiyama doesn't change his teaching style for Sarang, she will grow up to be a spoilt kid that demands to win everything. People will argue that it's competitiveness but it's a fine line between that and sore-loser. It's harsh to use the latter term on a kid but it is what it is.
Yeah! sarang has been my fave from the very start. i really love her but not really in this ep. i understand that she's still very young but at that age, she must learn how to be a sporty. it's great that she loves winning, but her competitiveness is too much that she ends up crying even with her mom. sung hoon is really great with kids. he should really grant shiho's wish to have another baby so someone will be by her side..

Yea same. I understand how Sarangs still young, but I think it's important for shiho and sunghoon to not just let sarang win every time she starts crying so they can teach her how to deal with losses and just being a good sport (because there will eventually be a day where she won't win something) but then again I'm sure both shiho and sunghoon knows Sarang better to know the way to educate her. This is my opinion based purely on the way I see how the editors of this show show how Sarang reacts when she starts losing.

Jion is leaving, I'm sad and happy for her at the same time. Uhm Taewoong & Jion may not be the most "entertaining" family out there, but the problems of this family is a great example of what newly-formed families would face. I actually think Jion's part in this episode is actually the best since she joined the show. It's great that both Uhm Taewoong and his wife are reflecting their parenting methods on Jion. Tbh, nowadays, it's not easy to get both parents to get involved in parenting. Happy that Jion won't be facing all those horrible comments, and she can grow up peacefully without any public scrutiny . Wishing this family all the best!

+Operation D.I.P. Is it just me or Jion has development problems? In terms of speech, interaction with others as well as mental growth. I am just glad both parents realised that they are not parenting right and has decided to seek for help. Even as a viewer I am quite worried with how she doesn't speak (as compared to Seoen and Seojun) and how she doesn't seem to like to play even though both her and Sarang are the only kid in the family. Made me realise parenting is not easy, and how no one are born parents, but everyone tries their best to give the best to their child. :')
I notice that too, from the beginning. Tae Wong keeps blaming himself for having kid at late age, makes me sad and worried too since I've always thought I don't wanna have kids too soon :(

My Mum said there's no a manual book to raise a kid because they're different each other even it's siblings, being parents is everyday learning. learn to understand, communicate, teamwork and deliver the feelings.

Does anyone else feel like they should discipline and teach Sarang better? She gets upsets whenever she loses to Yuto, others, and even her mom. Her dad coddles her too much by letting it go and giving her a second chance for a rematch. I know she's little, but these are really bad habits to have growing up. It's gonna be a harder/harsher wake up call later on.
No I agree, I love all these kids on the show, but sarang has the habit of crying and throwing a tantrum when she loses. I really love her, but her dad also needs to be strict at some times. Yes, she is still a kid, but if you keep doing things her way, she'll end up being a girl/ woman who will throw a tantrum when she's loses everytime, etc.

Ronica Dey I have two little sister. As the oldest, I remember I got always scolded and I rarely got what I wanted since my family didn't have money at that time. I'm 12 yrs older that the youngest and I can say, we have money to spend on "fun". She is now around 6 yrs old and she got spoiled mad since birth. When I scolded her for touching my things, my mom told me not to scold her since she was younger. Compared to my other sister and I, she cries more when she does not get what she want and she throws a tantrum. And those tantrums are frickin amazing tbh.
It may be only my sister, but when you keep this habit when you're older and on your own, people come to dislike you. So I don't want that to happen to my lil sis nor to Sarang. But yeah, maybe she'll get used to it.. (damn long text, sorry lol)

I tend to skip Sarang's parts the most whenever she's playing a game. I know she's a kid and all, but her crying repeatedly whenever she loses a game is unbearable for me.
+Do You Need Something? You know what’s really unbearable? Your shortsightedness, your intolerance and your inability to put things in the right perspective. It’s so simplistic to assume that a child is not disciplined, as soon as it
does something you don’t approve of. Sarang is 3. You can’t expect her to be as mature as an adult or a teenager.
Her parents have taught her how to deal with defeat and to be a good sport, but change doesn’t happen overnight. And being disciplined doesn’t mean that you’re never going to make mistakes again. Sarang is a human being, which means that she is never going to be perfect. She is going to make mistakes for the rest of life. No matter how well she is educated. Just like you, me and everybody else. And if being a sore loser is her only flaw, then I’d say she’s doing fine.
Sunghoon was also a sore loser, when he was Sarang’s age, which is why he is so understanding of her. He cried for a very long time after losing a match, when he was young. @@Darling6555 it doesnt matter how many horrible kids are out there or how flawed our upbringings are, we should all aim to dscipline our kids as best as we can and as best as they deserve, which means we should aim for perfection. An important part of what it means to be a society and a community is to call out such behavior in a kid so this is not seen as normal behavior. because kids should not behave like that normally. The whole point is to positively punish and reward certain behaviors. We should note and praise good behavior of kids and reprove bad behavior.

People will argue that it's competitiveness but it's a fine line between that and sore-loser. It's harsh to use the latter term on a kid but it is what it is.

Sarang's parents should teach Sarang that life isn't just about winning, losing is something we should face. This isn't the first time she cried over losing, she also cried when she lost against Yuto back then.
