Totally agree. I enjoyed Vera's character, too. They have made Joan's character more interesting on a different level- and those type of characters are always fun to watch. However, Tracy from Coronation Street is an abomination. Pathetic, unbelievable and definitely wouldn't be able to be like that in a street like that in real life.

I think Shane's much better off away from Fergo who doesn't mind treating the grown children of other parents like garbage. Speaking of garbage... Angel may not win any popularity polls but she is certainly an entertaining character, just what is needed to liven it up after Bev left too prematurely. If all characters were like Dot and Rabbit then it wouldn't be worth watching. That is my opinion anyway.

I said before the episode, 'Joan won't win and I don't care'. Then she lost and well...I felt horrible. I hate Joan with the fire of all hells. Auntie Joan is a totally different person and Auntie Joan lost Shane. I bawled my eyes out during their goodbye scene.
When I think about all the things she has done to the prisoners I don't feel bad for her at all. She is a monster. "Auntie Joan" is a facade and she showed Shane who she really is when she slapped him. If she had kept him long term there would have been more where that came from.

I used to have a friend in school that used to put Vicks under her eyes or Olbas Oil to make her eyes stream so she could get out of class- for no reason whatsoever. She just was that type of person who thrived on disruption and drama. She was great fun though, my best friend, and I idolised her. We used to have so much fun at school and also out.
Doing it too much will hurt your eyes won't it? I accidentally got Capsasin in my eye one day. I had a headache and put some onto my temples to esae the headache and forgot and rubbed my eyes because it was itching and it burned so badly I had to wash out my eye.

I used to wear contact lenses (before I got eye laser treatment), and the *tiniest* speck of dust in my eye used to hurt like hell! I wish I could afford Laser treatment. You're lucky. Two years ago, I had a cataract removed from my right eye. The doctor told me that it had been there from the time I was a baby. It was so tiny , but it grew. I had to get The Blind Society to help me get the procedure because it would have cost two thousand dollars. He thought at first it was stressed related. I still need glasses. I have astigmatism in my right eye and I am near sighted in my left.

I'm actually disappointed with the Reb character- I took a shine to her coz of her tiny cherubic pretty face, and I wanted to liken to her character, but I've been sorely disappointed- coz I don't know if the writers just didn't know what to do with her so just made her a bully with no objective or what...it's weird. At one point, I felt like they were gonna do something with her (like for instance when Ferguson got whatserface to beat her up). I thought tht was going to lead to something big, plus also the thing with her parents etc- but I'm thinking this isn't go anywhere when the writers had a great opening for it to. I'm actually disappointed at that, coz I feel that the actress had a lot more in her that she could have given, but wasn't given the chance. Such a shame. I think it would have been a great investment for the people that devised, produced etc the show to also employ someone that didn't work backstage to just be someone who watched the show from home from their pre episodes that hadn't been put on tv yet, to give their genuine opinion of how they thought a character should be and go, and what the public viewer would like to see. I said before the episode, 'Joan won't win and I don't care'. Then she lost and well...I felt horrible. I hate Joan with the fire of all hells. Auntie Joan is a totally different person and Auntie Joan lost Shane. I bawled my eyes out during their goodbye scene.
When I think about all the things she has done to the prisoners I don't feel bad for her at all. She is a monster. "Auntie Joan" is a facade and she showed Shane who she really is when she slapped him. If she had kept him long term there would have been more where that came from.

I used to have a friend in school that used to put Vicks under her eyes or Olbas Oil to make her eyes stream so she could get out of class- for no reason whatsoever. She just was that type of person who thrived on disruption and drama. She was great fun though, my best friend, and I idolised her. We used to have so much fun at school and also out.
Doing it too much will hurt your eyes won't it? I accidentally got Capsasin in my eye one day. I had a headache and put some onto my temples to esae the headache and forgot and rubbed my eyes because it was itching and it burned so badly I had to wash out my eye.
***** I would reckon so- that doing it too much would be detrimental. I used to wear contact lenses (before I got eye laser treatment), and the *tiniest* speck of dust in my eye used to hurt like hell! And if I ever accidentally scratched my eye (getting up close to the mirror to separate my lashes with a pin and scratching my eye accidentally, or playing pool with a friend who accidentally got my eye and shattered my lens) well, that hurt like HELL and needed hospital treatment. My god, I am soooo glad that I can see properly now and don't need aids. I am forever thankful to science for that- I can't tell you.
I wish I could afford Laser treatment. You're lucky. Two years ago, I had a cataract removed from my right eye. The doctor told me that it had been there from the time I was a baby. It was so tiny , but it grew. I had to get The Blind Society to help me get the procedure because it would have cost two thousand dollars. He thought at first it was stressed related. I still need glasses. I have astigmatism in my right eye and I am near sighted in my left.

I was only able to afford the money because at the time they were doing a half price deal if two people went so my mum insisted on lending me the money, and six members of my family (that's including me), all went to have our eyes done. I'm so glad you got to have the cataract removed. That must have been such a relief for you.

I'm actually disappointed with the Reb character- I took a shine to her coz of her tiny cherubic pretty face, and I wanted to liken to her character, but I've been sorely disappointed- coz I don't know if the writers just didn't know what to do with her so just made her a bully with no objective or what...it's weird. At one point, I felt like they were gonna do something with her (like for instance when Ferguson got whatserface to beat her up). I thought tht was going to lead to something big, plus also the thing with her parents etc- but I'm thinking this isn't go anywhere when the writers had a great opening for it to. I'm actually disappointed at that, coz I feel that the actress had a lot more in her that she could have given, but wasn't given the chance. Such a shame. I think it would have been a great investment for the people that devised, produced etc the show to also employ someone that didn't work backstage to just be someone who watched the show from home from their pre episodes that hadn't been put on tv yet, to give their genuine opinion of how they thought a character should be and go, and what the public viewer would like to see. Sorry- never meant for this to be that long :)
