Even TH-cam and Google aren't immune to that, they just have enough resources their entire service doesn't get shut down by it. That's why you'll have groups of people that all suddenly have connection issues to a stream that is still working fine for others, too many viewers being routed through the same server.
Well actually, they would be chill about it, as it was not an attack, & Boost, probably would have been excited over the traffic, I'm Australian, I didn't even know they had a website, all I know is that their smoothies are stupidly good but very overly expensive. If they ever saw a clip about it, I'd bet that they would be more like, thanks for the free advertising. Many people here have a very chilled attitude compared to other countries.

I feel the same way as Bae. There's sometimes where I might be like "I wish someone would get me this specific thing for me", but for the most part I'm just grateful anybody bothered to get me anything. At Christmas get-togethers I'd always feel guilty when my gramma and aunt would gift me something every year but I'm broke af and can't give anything in turn. Also my family barely celebrates holidays at all. This Halloween we just got a plain pumpkin, and Christmas we just rebuild our tree and keep it up half the year so it becomes less meaningful... And for my birthday, AT MOST, it's just some on the spot grocery store cake. I halfly don't even acknowledge my own b-day cuz it just reminds me I'm getting older with existential dread from my own mortality. Tldr: I don't really want anything, I've stopped caring

It's actually regulated outside of Japan, and very hard to do. It's simply too powerful, hence they made rules for it. Look it up, there is a reason you don't see anime related commerce in the western countries.

I feel the same way as Bae. There's sometimes where I might be like "I wish someone would get me this specific thing for me", but for the most part I'm just grateful anybody bothered to get me anything. At Christmas get-togethers I'd always feel guilty when my gramma and aunt would gift me something every year but I'm broke af and can't give anything in turn. Also my family barely celebrates holidays at all. This Halloween we just got a plain pumpkin, and Christmas we just rebuild our tree and keep it up half the year so it becomes less meaningful... And for my birthday, AT MOST, it's just some on the spot grocery store cake. I halfly don't even acknowledge my own b-day cuz it just reminds me I'm getting older with existential dread from my own mortality.
