Durant looked so good because: he got Klay Green and Iggy having his back on defense. they top tier defensive players! Offensively, how do you guard him when you got 2 of the greatest shooters in the game especially when they always moving. Durant had the most freedom in the world and had sort of pressure on any side on the court. No challenge whatsoever.
On the other side, LeBron had to run every play and guard the best player. The dude carrying a crazy amount of weight on his shoulders.

Curry n Klay are more system guys, they needs the screens and the plays. When kd is on the floor, there’s less ball movement and chemistry so kd gets his shots but Curry n klay just play. If you get what I mean. Kd made them tougher but also weaker in a way.

He had a history of playing bad in finals esp against the cavs. Kd has no weakness scoring wise, so you couldn’t really contain him esp when u got arguably the 2 best shooters in the game . Curry can get cold. Klay can be shut down if u really focus your defence on him
