On paper buffed weapons does hit harder however to me it also comes down to how accurate weapon is. If it's firing all over the place. I really can't do that dps then. M4 may not have be the big dps but it has very solid stats in other areas like range, accuracy and stability.
I'm glad to see the p 416 get a RPM boost but as many of us older players from day one know the p416 was the metal assault rifle at the beginning of this game and then they nerfed it because it was on par with the eagle bearer..
Great list. Thank you. I myself will still use my Elmo. But I do use the Carbine 7 and am adding my Military P416 back into my rotation. I'll have to brush off my Eagle Bearer as well.

I think they should change the bighorn to lose 5 stacks instead of 10 because you are gonna lose that buff so fast now since it's still 10 stacks lost after hitting max stacks. Still happy about it getting buffed, I just think 10 stacks lost when you have only 25 stacks now is just a bit to harsh.

It seems we get a percentage weapon upgrade and so does the bots, coz back in the day l could empty a round in a bot n it was dead. But NOW its 1 1/2 mags, PLUS a reload! The bots not only seem like they’re harder but spawn n move so feckin fast it’s like someones shoved a loada coke up their arses! I can’t even keep up with a 1300 rpm weapon! 🤣
Actually that is a area I never really even try to dive into, so I don't know the amount of damage and armor the bots have. BUT I have a small idea since when I made my 1 shot builds I noticed you need about 10million damage to 1 shot a elite enemy but that's it. Also I heard from the community that the bots gain damage buffs also when we gain the buffs. It's sounds very believable but I can not confirm that. My 2 cents: don't only look at dps or sustained dps, but how a gun type fits your play style. The Carbine 7 and the Honey badger e.g. are rated rather low, but both are better than a G36 if someone prefers to shoot enemies from far away beside close combat. Boith have a much higher accuracy and more bullets hit than when using a G36.
Absolutely agree with you that's what I said too. But knowing exactly what is the numbers it's always helpful if you truly are trying to hit the best numbers DPS wise

You should do a tier list for every class of weapon! Im going to try out new weapons now that I haven't been using because of this list. If only they buff honey badger more.
Big fan of lower RPM ARs. So the buffs on MK , AK , ACR & FAL is what im looking forward to the most. I agree concerning the FAL. A mag size increase would have been more welcome. I think that weapon is just trying to be different for no reason. The 20 Rounds attachement reduces Reload Speed in exchange. Maybe they can introduce other Mag Attachements with different amounts coming with different handicaps for us to tailor our experience.

All I'm getting from this list is that I decided to go and get the Shield Splinterer at the right time before this new update. Probably going to swap out between the Splinterer and the St. Elmo's every now and again to have some variety for Coutndown and other solo content I do.
with FAL make sense to have high dmg and lower mag, as their are BR= battle rifles and not AR,and they use 7,62 ammo....and mags are 20-30..if is a double casket mag than it will be 40... higher than that will not be efficient from ergonomic point, or a heavy one 50rnds drum mag....but that's reality base reasons. In a video game they can have 1000rnds in the mag if devs consider that will be the best way....

M4 is pretty good 50 rpm less than Famas. High accuracy &stability. you are more likely to land your headshot with skill issues means more dps. Accuracy is the only things you can’t control with. But stability you can use to it. M4 is one of my favourite weapon. St. Elmo is pretty good as well
A few of the AR's are good but I need to know which ones can get the most damage done in mid to long range and with 1 or 2 (maybe 3) hits. So far the Eagle, The Red one and the St. Elmo looks good so far.
Its good that they kepts the easut to use guns at the same place and buffed the less accurate and stable guns. I needed a reason to use other weapons so no it doesn't hurt. We are Not supporting to get attached to thing stay detached and ull never get hurt

The burst DPS list is going to cause a lot of people to blindly assume an F2000 will out-DPS a St. Elmo's on the same build but it would only do so with a damage talent like Killer. On a Coyote Striker (with BP) and Obliterate, 60% CHC at close range, 25% headshots: Without a damage talent, the F2000 will do 2.7% less burst damage than Elmo, and 7.1% less than EB. With Killer active, the F2000 will do 8.8% more burst DPS than Elmo, but only 3.9% more than EB. Eagle Bearer will do 4.7% more burst DPS than Elmo. Therefore, the F2000 MUST have a damage talent to compete, and Elmo must be thought of as a sustained DPS weapon only. Otherwise, just use EB because it has damage and utility.

All the A.R. are going to find their places in PVP & PVE. Just remember the Big Horn signal scoped shot is going to one tap player's, most players get dropped by 3 shots while scoped.

Now I like the FN in shooting games cause it's mid to long range and you can put a vertical hand grip on it, but my question is which of these AR's are kinda similar to that weapon that I can do mid to long range and can get the job done with 1 or 2 or 3 shots and not all rapid fire like all the others.

C7 basically became useless after St. Elmo dropped. You lose 2~3% dps for much better handling, more crit chance/damage(still loses on dps with this) and bigger mag size. Would run St. Elmos any day over C7 now.
No. On the Chameleon (and all the exotics) rolling DToC turns a beast into a MONSTER. Carb 7: they were a PAIN to find oke that was useable b/c of that locked talent. Less than 4 mins in and you lost me.

Well, I can't speak for other creators but I can say I play a variety of gun all the time. From Ars to SMGs and snipers. The only type of gun I don't like much and haven't used much are shotguns, not my type of gameplay

Brother the Chameleon has arguably the Best Damage talent in the game that after it's active it makes this gun a Beast. BUT I understand that without it this gun it's not the best. Also it's meant to be used as a SMG to be honest, from longe range it's bad
The bighorn sustained dps is still the highest so the mag size isn't an issue unless you are referring to the amount of stacks (striker, heartbreaker etc.) you can get per minute
i have a build that perfect sync always proc and man this gun is a complete beast no matter what kind of npc they are they will feel the wrath of newly improve PDR😂

Behind you if it keeps the 40% amp damage it will be the highest dmg talent period, now the thing is if you can keep it active for long time. Optimist it's better for good sustain and very easy to use. And... Strained???? On a F2000???? I would not recommend that ever

Can't help but think of all of the time wasted farming exotic components and resources to level up guns that will now be useless in pvp. Can't stand these developers. I'll be back for the end game when the game is over with and all the nerfing and buffing is over with.

To clarify... Mcguns17 has no fcking idea what he is talking about. Bighorn is NOT gonna be the best AR in the game at all. Any Ar outdpses it due to RPM and dmg talent. Eagle bearer is NOT a P416 Variant. It is a M4 variant. St.Elmo is NOT a m4 variant its a P416 Variant. If you want more detailed info on why these things are as they are go over to Dod-regnbue and get the factial numbers with spreadsheets. The best dps weapons in the game will be L86 and other LMG variants. Do not listen to half of what he is saying since he has no factual testing or any idea of what dmg stacks with and how it stacks.
Big horn will still be OP for headshot if you can hit your shots because it’s already harder hitting than most ars now it gets dmg to targets out of cover 10 dmg buff and you get the 100 percent headshot twice as fast from the talent
Please take a look at rpm on Eagle bearer & P416. Then do the same for Police M4 & St. Elmo. As for numbers and spreadsheets - they don't mean 💩if you cannot land your shots. That's the problems with most TH-camrs, they spent most of their time testing in the range vs going out in open world. Then you got people who say they can land shots with the Kingbreaker. But the final kill tally at the end of DUA will show that they only got 40 kills vs the 110 from the guy using St. Elmo

Can't help but think of all of the time wasted farming exotic components and resources to level up guns that will now be useless in pvp. Can't stand these developers. I'll be back for the end game when the game is over with and all the nerfing and buffing is over with.

Just watch a guide bro..mine was bugging out on the 3rd one I think..but it was because I was in a group..once I left then waited for it turn night it worked.

To clarify... Mcguns17 has no fcking idea what he is talking about. Bighorn is NOT gonna be the best AR in the game at all. Any Ar outdpses it due to RPM and dmg talent. Eagle bearer is NOT a P416 Variant. It is a M4 variant. St.Elmo is NOT a m4 variant its a P416 Variant. If you want more detailed info on why these things are as they are go over to Dod-regnbue and get the factial numbers with spreadsheets. The best dps weapons in the game will be L86 and other LMG variants. Do not listen to half of what he is saying since he has no factual testing or any idea of what dmg stacks with and how it stacks.
Big horn will still be OP for headshot if you can hit your shots because it’s already harder hitting than most ars now it gets dmg to targets out of cover 10 dmg buff and you get the 100 percent headshot twice as fast from the talent
@@grannde_tru but that’s because aiming through scope makes it a dmr it’s part of it’s talent. AR wise it’s bad.
Please take a look at rpm on Eagle bearer & P416. Then do the same for Police M4 & St. Elmo.
As for numbers and spreadsheets - they don't mean 💩if you cannot land your shots. That's the problems with most TH-camrs, they spent most of their time testing in the range vs going out in open world.
Then you got people who say they can land shots with the Kingbreaker. But the final kill tally at the end of DUA will show that they only got 40 kills vs the 110 from the guy using St. Elmo
