Oh wow honoured to be in your Make Nine! I have a pattern of yours on my Make Nine...the dispersion gloves. We should cast on together 😄 Love your videos and checking in on what your are making and yarns you are using xx
Ahh amazing!! I can't wait to see Rowan's face when I give it to him. His birthday is May so I might try to have it done for then. Even if it's wonky it will be loved x
I'm excited for your Make 9, these are all great! If it works out timewise, you should knit the Andrea Mowry sweater during her March To May KAL, she usually runs a big pattern sale in her newsletter leading up to it 😉
Hi Kelly....no one in the comments for Rococo is getting gauge! Stick with your plan and just start...love all your choices! I cast on 12! Ha! Loving it.
Yeh I saw that!! I think it might be a fault in the pattern that the yarn choice is confusing. I'll just do my best I think. Oh did you do the yarn n yarn 12 cast ons? I'd get into such a state doing that 🤣 Good luck with them. It's a great idea xx
Oooh that would be beautiful wouldn't it! But my advent is 10g 4ply (fingering) and the wall hanging is aran so I'd have to hold it triple. I'm not sure how far it would go then. 🤔❤️
Ooooh I’m watching on me tv but I scrambled to comment. The ilha sweater was my very first sweater I ever knit! Second adult sized garment after a cardigan I knit in 2020
Thanks, I loved watching your make 9 ! And it's inspiring, too - guess you are right about getting things done when you have an actual plan. So perhaps I'll do a 'make some', as I do have some plans, really. I've been eyeing those african flower patterns for some time, not sure if I want to crochet one myself, but I do love the look of them. As for the Zauberball, I don't think it will work that well... with the yarn consisting of two different colours plied together like that, it probably won't show of texture that well. I'm curious to see what you'll come up with for the wall hanging, quite a surprising pattern. Anyway, happy knitting !
Oh yes! A "make some" is a great idea! I just hope I can do the African flower and it's not too complicated for me. Otherwise it will be a dinosaur made up of granny hexis 😂 I think you're right about the zauberball. I've put it back in its box. I'll have to think of something else xx
I say I couldn't do a make nine but I am trying this year to use more than I buy...yes again🤣 I did join in with the 12 days cast ons by Yarnnyarn and have even finished 2 - a hat and a baby cardigan. So my plan is to have 3 active WIPs and when my WIP pile gets to about 3-5 cast on a few more using patterns and yarn I own. I hope it lasts
That sounds like an excellent plan! I also want to use more than comes in this year. It's hard though. Buying yarn is an addiction. I know I don't need any more 🤣
I made a sheep from the same designer. It's fairly easy to make ( ive made loads of amigurumi) but the sewing together was a bit of a challenge , the hexagons need to be the same size so tension needs to be pretty much the same throughout. Give it a bash I'm sure you will manage (it's a toy mistakes are acceptable) 😂 En's
The sewing up is what scares me but I'm hoping I enjoy it because a dinosaur starts to appear 🤞🏼 🦕 The tension thing is worrying but I'm definitely getting better, and a smaller hook could be just the thing I need.... Maybe! 🤔😂
I think you need to put yourself in time out and throw a cast-on party! 😂. Your boys will have to fend for themselves for a few hours. 😉 OR, instead of the boys going for an overnight at grandmas, *YOU* go for an overnight and work on whatever makes you happy!! 🤩
Lovely make 9! I’ve made the hippo years ago when I just started to learn crochet. It’s very doable and fun, I’m sure the dinosaur will be too.
Ooh well that's definitely encouraging that you were a beginner crocheter when you made the hippo! I'm looking forward to making it
I laughed out loud while wearing earphones my husband thinks I am mad love your crazy cat😂 like your ideas too❤
Hahaha love it!! 😂

Aww 🥰 I'm honoured to be in yours! Hahaha! Yes we should 😂❤️
I really love the snow day socks, I'm not ready to try them myself yet but can't wait to see yours.
I'm excited for them too! You'll get there with colourworks socks! 🧦
I made the hidden pathways wall hanging a few years ago in a teal yarn, it was a quick project. Enjoy all your making!
Oooh that's good to know! You're the first to tell me you've made it. I'm excited for it! X
Loved the podcast, love your make9 sweaters ❤
Thank you lovely ❤️
I made the triceratops for my daughter for Christmas! It turned out so bright and fun!
Ahh amazing!! I can't wait to see Rowan's face when I give it to him. His birthday is May so I might try to have it done for then. Even if it's wonky it will be loved x

Ooooh good plan!!! I hadn't thought of that! Thanks Katie xx

That was fun. Can you use some of your advent stash for the wall hanging, maybe multi-coloured ones? Be beautiful.
Oooh that would be beautiful wouldn't it! But my advent is 10g 4ply (fingering) and the wall hanging is aran so I'd have to hold it triple. I'm not sure how far it would go then. 🤔❤️
I’ve made the Ihla sweater and it’s one of my favorites. Also made the Architectures scarf. A fun knit.
Oooh! That's good to know! ❤️
The Rococo, Pink Velvet and Ilha have been on my TDL for ages - maybe they'll make it onto my Make9 next year 🤞
Oooh yes definitely! And they won't take you long either! Not like me 😂
Ooooh I’m watching on me tv but I scrambled to comment. The ilha sweater was my very first sweater I ever knit! Second adult sized garment after a cardigan I knit in 2020
I know! 😊 It was because of you that it got added to my queue. I always notice when you wear it in videos too. It's lovely ❤️
Hi Kelly
The make 9 obviously works for you, horses for courses, eh???
You have picked some lovely knits to make xxx
Definitely horses for courses 😊 I find decision making hard work 🤣 ❤️

@@RowRowandKades A granny dinosaur sounds good too. Quite fitting, actually, as dinosaurs are so old... 😅

I’ve had the Red Velvet on my to do list since 2021.
It wasn't even on my radar! I had no idea it existed. Hopefully you make it soon too x

Meant to say I used a 2.5 hook anything smaller will need patience😂

Ah hahaha! What an amazing idea! 👏🏼😂
I'd skip that Rococo. Comments seem to have issues.
I love it so much though 🤣 I'll give it a go and see what happens
