All I can say is anything involving human inspection will ALWAYS involve some form of human error, no matter who the brand is. Do with that what you will, do your homework and make your own decisions. Personally I do both retail & rep (price dependent) and just enjoy the best of both 🤷♂️ StockX is on the hot seat since they’re at the forefront for their style of business but this can easily be Goat or Ebay
The reps that pass StockX inspection will be not more than 2-3% and those too, will be expensive kicks like Travis etc. -- for the rest, the overwhelming majority are authentic. Almost every Nike or Jordan I get on StockX or Goat ships from overseas (Japan, Korea, HK, UK, or Europe) due to exchange rate differences favoring the US dollar.
I left StockX when I learned that GOAT let you return shoes for credit. Buying from StockX and needing to resell if they don't fit felt like theft. Glad they updated their policies to mirror what GOAT has had for a while.
its crazy never had an issue with them. i had off white 5s coming to me and they actually seen a defect asking if i wanted them. all of my sneakers have been legit
@@JoshDominic oh I never thought about that in regards to fees in Europe. It's pretty high over here in the US. I shouldn't be paying close to $30 on processing fees on a $300 shoe especially on a brand that has loads of reps like Jordans.
Josh, a little bit off topic of the video, but what do you think about making video about black sole sneaker, i saw you made a video about best black sneakers, and i want to see some best black sole sneakers if you don’t mind, thanks.
There were so many resellers making bank selling UA's on stockx, goat etc (and bragging about it on instagram). Paying a markup for stuff made with sh!tty materials is dumb. If you really want a hype shoe go get the rep.
I love Goat for used shoes, eBay I don’t like selling on there sometimes because they are too sensitive with there authentication, sold some shoes I only put on my foot for sizing and then off, and they said it was used 😢
i hate to break it to you. they make GR reps of Asics, nike, adidas, hokka and other brands too. I've been on just about every rep website the past 4-5 yrs since pandemic. researching that market. I've seen a lot of brands not just "hype" sneakers get replicated. So do your research and purchase with a bit knowledge. it is what it is. Alot of you sneaker influencers use these platforms as well these "early reviews". haha Listen I get money has to made just don't try and lie to your followers.
I've never bought a rep in my life so I admit I don't know much about this market. What are some places where you see these fake hokas and asics? Im asking because I genuinely want to know, I've never seen one
If you were ever using stockx to buy shoes that cost more than retail after selling out, you could’ve been buying a fake this whole time. Especially when it came to sneakers costing 3, 4, or 5 times retail
Remember, every fake shoe StockX rejects is money they don't make. Rejecting every fake sneaker in a market oversaturated with replicas is a bad business model.
When I buy from the secondary market I always use GOAT. They are, 90% of the time, cheaper than StockX when you include all the fees and offer really good customer service.

Yea exactly that’s what I talked about as well, anytime you buy from any of these sites, especially the hype sneakers, Offcourse it will be a risk

I totally agree with you. Stay far from StockX for hype sneakers, but for general release pairs they are a good source to get steals.
Black cement is ok?
Havent bought from stockx since 2021 - if i cant trust your business i cant spend my
Money
Nothing wrong with that
I’ve not had any issues with any fakes but I also explicitly avoid buying shoes that tend to be rep’d a lot.

Yeah

yea for the most part i have good experiences as well
JD ist das GOAT of Sneaker TH-cam! Keep up the good work bro.
Ebay has been my go to
I just ordered the fear 4s on stockx and now I’m pretty worried.
Didn't nike say they bought something like 1000-2000 shoes in the beginning of this lawsuit
I was trying to read about this but couldn't find any info
If I’m being honest I haven’t used stockX in like 5yrs plus. It’s retail or goat for me.
StockX overall just hasn't been worth it, IMO. Their fees alone are straight up taxing.
Aren't their fees lower than most though? Atleast in Europe, Stockx fees are lower for me than all other platforms
@@JoshDominicGoat just charges shipping and taxes, stockX has both of those AND a verification fee (lol)

For shoes over 300$ they should video chat the customer in doing the authentication process of the sneakers
It's my very first time bidding on stockX on some vans slip ons shoe so .. hope i'll get it authentically ?
As a custumer now days I prefer to buy at retail or replica and save some money, specialy on the very hyped shoes. 💪💪💪💪
I always buy at stock x.. 2 pairs was fake according to my friend who made a legit checking. 😢
ah man yea that sucks for sure
StockX has many problems. A few months back I purchased the Awake Nike Airship Collab and hang tag was missing. I never trusted them.

Hell nawwww, cant do the foogayzees
@@Mycarisloose if you bought something from StockX or Goat you have no idea if they're real

They do have returns now! Considering all platforms have the same risk, do you still have the same opinion?
Do you think it is safe to buy golden goose?
Yeeee JD that’s why I never bought any Js from there dutty innit

@@JoshDominic Fwiw he's right. Every brand, and most models, have been repped. Plenty of GR's too.
Far, far less incentive for someone to try to slip a rep past an authenticator if retail versions are readily available.
I only buy Nike sneakers from stockX when they’re 40-60% below retail 🤷🏽♂️
If you were ever using stockx to buy shoes that cost more than retail after selling out, you could’ve been buying a fake this whole time. Especially when it came to sneakers costing 3, 4, or 5 times retail
Not to mention the guy who bought the 7/11 dunks that got some Nike by You dunks
I only bought OG AF1'S on stock 😅 anything worth having i use flight club
Hm and I just got some shoes from Stock X scary probably won’t use them no more
Remember, every fake shoe StockX rejects is money they don't make. Rejecting every fake sneaker in a market oversaturated with replicas is a bad business model.
kinda not true, they penalize the seller so they do make there process cost

Bricks are the only thing safe
Atleast you admit to being a follower and not standing on integrity 👎🏽
You guys buy on stockX? I buy on kickscrew💀
Just buy from StockX GOAT only if it's not a hype pair and you're not planning to resell, only display
Retail or Replica is the way to go
Stock X nope, I will never Buy ever.
Ebay Nope, Just To Much Hussle to return Product
ebay is one of the most reliable for authenticity though
ebay is one of the most reliable for authenticity though if you care about not getting fakes that is
It's crazy to think that counterfeits are at an all time high because places like stockx, eBay, goat and now poizon exist.
