Shouldn't it be analyzed differently, as by crafting Glass Knight you're progressing towards just one deck and by going for Genn you're going for that same deck and you're also getting closer to some other decks?

Lol i got the weapon for free as my gift except i wasnt a moron to dust it, you guys remember me of two guys i had an argument over if zilliax and subject 9 were good cards (they were nowhere meta at the time) and i tried with all my will to explain them why they were good cards with huge potential, unfortunately their stupidity was bigger and they probably ended up dusting them and regretting it, my advice is to not dust the freaking card unless is something that is absolute garbage like the dark aviana that makes the first card played to cost 0 mana for your opponent and then later for you.

Why are there so many specifically hunter legendaries? And why are they in the order of the deck winrate of the decks they are in? I wonder... Is it becuase hunter egg hunter, secret hunter and spell hunter are insanely OP?
Al'akir main power isn't the burst he gives in the end game. While okay, it would not be played if that was his power. Al'akir is so powerful in even shaman because of corpse taker. Same reason why even pally runs windfury harpy, which in itself isn't that good of a card. And al'akir gives all the package that matters in one card.
i feel like doing drawn winrate could have showcased some lower tier decks that are carried by powerful legendaries. Drawn winrate is a lot more reasonable of a measure than played because it doesn't fall into that trap that makes finishers look really good even when you lose a lot of the time that you have the card. I know it was easier to just sort by winrate and find the legendaries, and this video says more about what cards are important in Hearthstone as a whole, but I think this could have been another neat way to go.
I currently am playing spell hunter as a f2p player and have all the pieces of the deck except Rhok'delar. I have a pretty high win rate with the deck because of how good it is but was wondering if it's even worth crafting the legendary weapon when it is going to rotate out next expansion. Thoughts anyone?
My favorite parameter is "winrate when drawn", because it eradicates situations where the legendary could have no impact, but does impact how the game is played. Is Antonidas a dead card because you drew it but it's sitting in your hand? Does your winrate spike just by having access to kathreena? Is the legendary slow enough where its power is outpaced by the speed of the enemy deck? I think winrate when drawn really speaks on the state of the meta, and how the legendaries fit into that theory, while not talking about how the decks just win without the legendary having any kind of impact. If Deathrattle hunter had, say, a 50% winrate, but the legendary is insta-win (as is often the case), it's more impactful to determine Rexxar as a strong legendary by the when-drawn factor, than the deck factor.
I feel like quests does not count in this top list, because it’s doing the same as arcmage Antonidous - plays around a single card - when you play the legendary = high win rate
I hope the next expansion has quests in it. I am really going to miss them. Hunter, Druid, Warrior quests are prolly the most fun i have had in the game.
Zul'jin is very strong indeed: I had a game where the opponent was at 1, then he topdecked that card, and I instantly lost from there. That card is bonkers.
I disenchanted 3 Hunter Legendaries before the Druid/Pally nerf lmao. I almost always won with Secret hunter but it was boring as hell, and now it's the most powerful deck in the game. Color me surprised.
The Houndmaster Shaw explanation is not correct, Deathrattle Hunter is based around devilsaur egg and that card cant attack without attack buffs and the majority of Deathrattle Hunters dont run any buffs except Keleseth and the draw chance for Keleseth on 2 is pretty low, but anyways Houndmaster Shaw is played because its a great tool to control the board which hunter is lacking a lot and its not played to "run your deathrattles into enemy minions"

Honestly, right now zul'jin is incredibly powerful, but next expansion I see it dropping considerably in power. In the rotation it loses wandering monster, venomstrike trap, crushing walls, flanking strike, to my side, and most importantly emerald spellstone. If it doesn't fill your board, and only plays two animal companions, maybe a deadly shot and three secrets, it's just not the same. It would probably be above average still, but unless new powerful hunter spells appear, it won't be what it is right now. It reminds me a bit about raza. It wasn't that good of a card and reno priest was the weakest of the three reno deck. But when Anduin came out it then became insane to the point of needing a nerf. But even without the nerf, it didn't have thaat much time alongside Anduin in standard. And after raza wasn't much of a thing, anduin went from the best death knight, to an ok one, but outshined by other decks. For the moment, that is also what I forsee for zul'jin.
kripp can you pos say what "add ons" you use. i have innkeeper but whats the others you use? seen one that other youtuber uses but will not mention his name which shows what other players cards have been used

And sure if you draw a 10 mana legendary on turn 2, that's bad for your winrate... But that's part of the whole equation; That's why you don't run too many big cards, because drawing them early is terrible. On average, if drawing a legendary makes you win the game, it's a good legendary. Because it means that 1) At some point in the game it's your most efficient play and 2) it's efficient enough for you to win the game. If you draw the legendary and never play it because it cost too much and you're struggle against the board or any other reason, then it's probably a bad legendary. Not that the effect is bad or anything like that, but because in this meta you can't afford to do whatever the legendary does.
Why no Baku? She is the mastermind behind several well-performing decks, she singlehandedly banned several cards (we all know what those nerfs actually are). On that note, why is Rexxar so low? I mean, if he is the card all hunter decks play, isn’t he supposed to be the best hunter legendary?
Wait that odd paladin vs quest warrior comment isn’t true. Quest warrior DESTROYED odd paladin.it destroyed most aggro decks. Not because of the quest but because of the infinite board clears (blood razor+ warpath+brawl+primordial Drake ) and taunts and drywhisker armor. It’s bad matchups were druid and shudderwock (you picked the wrong nerfed decks). I know because I played that deck specifically vs the odd paladin witchwood meta and experienced it all.
I can't wait for the death knights to rotate out. Deathstalker makes me want to concede no matter what's happening in the game cuz I don't want to deal with the high rolls of OP zombeasts endlessly.

So, the strategy is to build and anti wolf deck. You run every card you can that does at least 3 to everything, and try to make hunters sad. The end result is Janina elemental Mage ft. Arcanosaur for the anti wolf tech

I think a more appropriate gauge of power is the drawn winrate.

i got to legend playing big spell hunter. Won like 1 game because on Zul' jin, won 80-90% of my games because of Kathrena and Oondasta value.
I crafted Zul'jin day one and yesterday I crafted subject 9, very good cards but most importantly very funny ones to play
