Had probs with Evri, recently, 2 items missing without trace, 2 items arrived damaged had to cancel and refund. Started sending with Yodel, had no problems and they are 6p cheaper per parcel!
This year I have found myself moving more and more to items that have enough value so I can send them tracked. It’s definitely getting worse with not received claims in regards to untracked. Even if it takes an extra 50 pence profit per item… I find the greater peace of mind and the chance buyers knowing the item is tracked may deter potential scammers worth the cost for me.
2nd class large letter and above is tracked. it may not always show as delivered on eBay but usually does on Royal Mail Tracking (get the app)i send lots of letter size mail worth in excess of £30 i send them large letters now for the tracking. it’s just a bit of a bollocks that RM have upped the price of LL recently 😬🤣
Ive had 2 cases opened where customers say not received. I checked through Royal Mail and both was delivered even checked the gps but customers still insisted they didn’t so I contacted eBay and eBay refunded them..
and also if you didn't want to have to contact eBay about it, if the tracking shows delivered, just get the customer to open a case. Once open, you add the tracking before the 5-7 day deadline and you're done. eBay will decide what to do next with the customer, but you will never lose out as long as the tracking shows delivered.
