The Best Waterfalls to Visit in Winter in the Finger Lakes

The Finger Lakes is not short on waterfalls and though many people choose to visit them in the summer, they're beautiful in the winter! In this video, we check out some of our favorite frozen and not so frozen waterfalls to visit in the winter. All these falls are easily accessible by car or short hike.

There’s Hector falls north of Watkins Glen on 414. There’s also Glenora falls just down South Glenora rd from our B&B near Glenora winery. It’s on private property but visible from the road. Once the leaves fall we will drive Route 54 on the east side of Keuka lake and look up the cuts in the hillside. There are a number of great little falls and mini gorges that are hidden with foliage in the summer.
