Nowhere was it mentioned that they'd wait for supplies & then he'd have 10 days. They had the man power (all the soldiers & Jannisaires) to do the work, but they needed a lot of supplies. My husband & Iowned a construction company, & even he knows it would take a good length of time to make that length, size, and width of bridge.
