Yeah I remember seeing some interview/history of Kitou Akari. iirc she came to Tokyo to actually be an illustrator but became a voice actor/idol. So as expected she really can draw.
@@Madao-the_fallen_angel_samurai people draw with "those lines" to get the subject's structure so it will be easier to draw the details and make the drawing/illustration more convincing. just drawing what you see, copying only exactly what you see and not figuring out how the subject's structure works won't get you anywhere if you want to study anatomy and eventually draw "from imagination" but since you mentioned it, idk if Akarin was copying something in the video. still a great skill to have regardless. but with that kind of precision and not copying is a different level of art mastery. there are mangakas who can do that with their characters
