    Roger's humility is next level. The fact that he felt embarrassed to tell the security guard who he was, just shows how humble he is. Any other person with a fraction of his achievements would've pulled the "do you know who I am? " card within seconds of the interaction.

      @crls1 Federer is, of course, one of the best ever but one could argue that Djokovic or Nadal are equivalent, if not better. Take into account that Djokovic will probably play for another 2 or 3 years at the top level.

    • @TorpedoSandwich0
      @TorpedoSandwich0 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@crls1How? I challege you to give me a single objective argument in favor of Federer being better than Djokovic. Novak has more Grand Slams, more Master 1000 titles, more weeks at Number 1 and a winning head to head record against Federer. The same (except for the weeks at number 1) goes for Nadal, but with an even more lopsided h2h (Nadal 24 - 16 Federer). I like Federer, but he's obviously 3rd best. The stats couldn't be more clear. You'd know that too if you didn't get your entire tennis knowledge from TH-cam Shorts.

    • @crls1
      @crls1 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@TorpedoSandwich0 I almost got scared of your angry fingers there. Both Novak and Nadal started competing with Federer when they were much younger and gained the edge in numbers later on, when age and injuries began to weigh against Roger. Novak = 6 years younger, Nadal = 5 years younger. You can type whatever you want, I've seen them play and Roger has always been number 1 for me.

      You're delusional. It's commonly agreed that Federer's peak years were roughly from 2004 - 2008. During that time, his head to head against pre-peak Nadal is 6 to 12. You may like Federer more, but the stats are clear. Rafa is simply better than him. Your feelings don't matter in this discussion.

    • @dannycarlow8204
      @dannycarlow8204 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@TorpedoSandwich0Roger dominated Rafa late in his career. 6-1 from age 34-38 while Rafa was age 29-33. 7-1 if you count the walkover. The problem for Roger was all the matches on clay that they played. Rafa led 14-2 on clay while Roger led 14-10 off clay. Makes sense since Rafa was the greatest on clay ever. If they played their matches evenly over all 3 surfaces, Roger probably would have finished with the better head to head record. They just happened to play the most on Rafa's best surface.

    Reminds me of the time American tourists at Balmoral bumped into the Queen and didn’t recognize her and asked her if she had ever met the Queen. She pointed to her footman and said "I never have, but he works here and has met her often." So they asked her to take their picture with the footman.
