Sucks that I didn't get a chance to really play the psp like that when I was younger, because a lot of those games look really fun. Also wish game companies did reversible covers a lot more often like they used to, because that coded arms cover looks dope!
This was such a great video - awesome discussion on each game and I loved the personal touch at the start about how the PSP was important to you in High School. FF Tactics The War of the Lions is legit excellent and I'm excited to see what you think of it!
I’m really excited to dip my toes into the FF games I got! I usually stay away from RPGS because of all the time they demand from you. But with them being on handheld and my mind willing to be open, I can play them wherever and whenever! Thank you for watching brotha!
Hey, Karen E. here. 😁 Great video, Nick! I have a PSP related story: I got to play the PSP about a year before it was released in America... My brother, who was active duty military at the time, was home on leave from his station in Japan. He brought with him a PSP. I'd never heard of the thing. I remember playing this game with ninjas & fighting, and the graphics blew my mind! The tiny discs were so cool. I had a Nintendo DS, & was building my DS game collection...and so I continued on w/ the 3DS, New 3DS XL, etc. (Which I'm glad to say, I still have them all). But, getting to see a handheld before many in this country had heard of it? It was way cool! This video makes me want a PSP.....Though I still have a couple old school Game Boy games I need to beat, lol!
That is so cool! He must’ve had the Japanese initial launch model! Oh man, I wish I still had my 2DS XL. I bought that but never had much for it and traded it in :( I regret it every day. I hope that you find a good deal on a psp and some games so it’s easy to get!
Sick video and pickups man! I recommend: The Warriors, Manhunt 2, Dead Head Fred, and Silent hill shattered memories. Also, don’t forget about UMD movies if you’re a movie guy. I just watched The Mummy on my PSP last week. Cheers man!
Ohhh those are some great recommendations! I’ll definitely be on the lookout for those! And yes, the movies I feel are a must! Thanks for checking out the video! 🍻
The PSP has such an amazing library of games. Coded Arms is amazing and works exceptionally well as a FPS where you only have one thumbstick! Hope you enjoy your haul, man!
Great video man! I found so much good stuff at Game On. I've been picking up Dreamcast titles for a while, and I found some amazing stuff at the con! Glad to see your PSP collection is growing!
I would love to start growing my Dreamcast collection too! I only have a sliver of games for it. They’re so hard to come by locally! What’re you planning on getting next for your collection? Thank you for watching!
Sheesh, W collection bro! The PSP has quite the selection of games to choose from! I've always wanted to purchase a psp but just never got around to do so, hopefully that changes in the near future 🙏🏽
Good pick ups ! Specially ff tactics and gradius! If ur looking for some jrpg recommendations can’t go wrong with final fantasy 4 collection for the psp, or trails in the sky that’s incredible. The psp god of war games are ace to ! PSP is one of my fave consoles
I wish I had kept my PSP, sadly though handhelds are just so neglected in my house lol….i just have to many games and console games always take priority. Great list though, fun vid my friend! ❤️🎮
Thank brother! Yeah, I always try my best to spread my gaming experience around as best as possible. Sometimes, the psp gets more love than the switch, the Xbox more than the ps5, so on. But I think handhelds are gaming a best secret weapon vs boredom
Gradius is pronounced the first way you said it. But if you played the magnificent Gaiden, the male voice pronounces it is "Gra-DEE-us." I've started saying it that way myself as a result. I too learned of the game through the PSP as it was the first time it was released in the US. The disc almost never left my PSP because it was played so much, and even though I don't have a PSP anymore, I still play it emulated through my Steam Deck all the time. I also recommend getting Mega Man Powered Up, which was a cute re-imagining of the first game (which also added two new Robot Masters in Oil Man and Time Man,) the Metal Gear Acid series (if you like turn based card games) as well as Peace Walker, and the first Lumines. I just wish that Sony did more with their portable line up. The way the Vita was neglected is borderline criminal.
I liked broken destiny... I think the only thing that's a shame in a way is that it doesn't have an arcade mode on it. But it's still fine to pick up and play now and the

Bro!!! So glad to see you back here! Yeah man the psp has a pretty large library just waiting to be discovered again!
You scored some awesome stuff! PSP isn’t one I hear much about today. Great games too!
Thanks! Yeah I figure I might as well strike before the iron gets too hot on it and prices go up!

I have no idea what happened to my PSP!! Miss the PSP days too!
I looked for it in a furious panic lol glad I found it! What games did you have for it?
R&C Size Matters is so underrated
Pretty awesome little game
Hopefully I can get it to work! I got it for dirt cheap, but I can see a few smudges on the disc.
💪 excellent video bro
Thank you brotha! 💪🏼

Have fun playing FF tactics but be careful as you can soft lock yourself very easily. So level up and don't rush!
Good tip to know!
Great pick ups! 👏👏

Yeah you’re right and it would’ve made it a 10/10
I still have my PSP and Vita. Havnt touched them though. Everything is on my steamdeck now 😅
EDIT: FF Tactics WotL was my jam in school.
I’m excited to give it a go! I wonder what other games I’ve never tried I’ll love!
Oh if you don’t have patapon 1 and 2 or loco roco they are classic psp games !
Looks like I’m going to have to hunt those ones down!!!
Battlefront 2 makes any console better.
