Oh yes he does...I've had a huge crush on Roland since I was 10 yrs old and he was 21 yrs old...of course I'm now 51 yrs old and he is 62...I'm too old for him now lol 😂😂😂😂
It's a wonderful thing to hear new music from Tears For Fears in 2022...feels like 1985 again hearing and seeing them on the radio & tv again...👍👏🎶🎵🎼🥁🎸
Songs from the big chair is by far my favorite Album.. it was like listening to an experience not a pop Album… I must’ve listened to it Daily back in the 80’s 😎
I came along about 10 years too late to appreciate them in their prime but looking back through their discography and knowing what was selling at the time it is really remarkable they had the successful run they did. The music they were making was just on another level. Technically impressive but earnest and sincere. Smart without being pretentious.
💯 I was a preteen back then...right out the gate TFF became my fave over Duran Duran Culture Club etc...they stand the test of time because their music was real deep introspective and genius! They and Sade are literally the only two artist I still listen to that came out of that era...their music grew with me as I moved through different stages of my life❤ The Seeds of Love was more mature aware diverse and complex...as I was becoming as I transitioned from a child to an adult!
Thank you for this video ❤️(≧▽≦)❤️ Fan from Japan 🇯🇵I'm looking forward to tomorrow's album release!Japanese fans can listen to it first in the world. perhaps. Japanese fans say that's what they want 🇯🇵.
Great interview! Looking forward to the newest album. Thank you Roland and Curt for this gift to your fans! Roland , love your hair!! Best wishes to the Best Band Ever!❤️ Yes! Your music fills the gaps in our life’s. Love all the older music - and LOVE THE TIPPING POINT ALBUM!!!❤️
Love you guys: "the not so secret object T4F"...been going over all your music and interviews recently and I am amazed at the quality of the music in retrospect! Love your hair Roland, don't go back, it's such a powerful statement. Congrats to the both of you!
Ok. Here goes. Coming from a family of known professionals musicians from my grandfather to my brother ( I am 70 yrs young ), I have been blessed to have met and see many, many musicians including Jimi Hendrix with what was then called Chicago Transit Authority with the late great Terry Kath. Along my musical journey, sadly I did not at the time enjoy a lot of the music from the 80’s. My sister who was also a musical lover had mentioned Tears For Fears or as she called them “Cheers For Bears.” I remember her telling me I needed to listen to these “angry kids” and their haunting lyrics and music. Never did. Only when COVID happened did I decide to find out about these two guys who were kids no more. Simply, I was blown away is an understatement. I have listened to everything they recorded over and over including their latest album “The Tipping Point” which is nothing short of a masterpiece in my opinion. I feel they are their best when they don’t try and put as much as they can into a recording becoming simply overwhelming and overkill which I feel they have done from time to time. They definitely write from their heart. Roland has a thing about death which he writes frequently about, but if we admit it or not, don’t we all? Those two write about what we are feeling. Not caring to get a “catchy hit.” They write and produce music that means something to them which is very rare in this unforgiving industry. I surely hope “The Tipping Point” is not their last album. I know I’m a better person for hearing what they have to say…Namaste
I agree for me a great interview is one to get those being interviewed to fully engage by asking different questions than usual. To get those being interviewed to disclose something unknown and this guy did all that. Roland and Curt seemed to enjoy this interview so I as the listener/watcher enjoyed it more
I saw them through the eighties. But I never saw any interviews, until recently. And it is just interesting to see how not socially phony they are inclined to be. I would never want to go up to anyone as a celebrity draw. Get a selfie with someone, or tell them how much they mean to me. If it wasn't natural and non-forced, I just would skip it.
Roland took advantage of how anti social Curt was. So Tears for fears was always Roland's Face . But Curt , you are boring , you are a man of few words. How was your day , your answer is Good. DId you enjoy life? it was okay. Dont blame him . Now that you are older I hope you see it , its all business.
I dig Roland's personality a lot. I can see why he has a much younger wife. He's super magnetic and intelligent and dryly funny
Oh yes he does...I've had a huge crush on Roland since I was 10 yrs old and he was 21 yrs old...of course I'm now 51 yrs old and he is 62...I'm too old for him now lol 😂😂😂😂
I am Italian and I LOVE TFF,the best band for me...forever.Thanks Roland and Curt ❤❤

Roland”s voice calmes me down. So warm, so deep. He can read the yellow pages, and i would be a fan. I would ring every number in the book😅🤣😊

I think it's nice they are interviewing the dads of the Tears for Fears members.

I must say that I do prefer his darker hair colour. I wonder why he has let his hair go? But I guess he has had a lot going on recently too.
@@danniifan3115 , sorry but I still LOVE ROLAND’s HAIR❤️
@@danniifan3115 after the events of 2017, Im not sure he really got a choice.....

Forever Tears For Fears! ❤❤❤
Roland has taken on this wizard " gandoff " look.
Yeah with the new album & touring you’d think he’d make some effort not to look like a geriatric 😂
Great band, their music takes me Back to my 20s, Roland is looking like Bill Bailey nowadays...😂
Eu ficaria muito feliz se alguém traduzise essas entrevistas

I meant “Cheers for Beers” not Bears. Not the best at texting. Forgive❤️
I love TFF ❤️...I love them both 💙💙xxxxxx
O entrevistador não deixa os dois falarem...só ele fala ! 🤨🤨
I am Australian, do I detect a mostly Aussie accent from the interviewer? Very good interview. Great questions being asked here!
Think he is from New Zealand.
