- Hey loves! I was going to hold off on this video for a few weeks, but why not kick off the beginning of summer with my updated wash and go routine! In this tutorial I’m showing you how I achieve my defined, voluminous, AND moisturized wash and go. You’ve all been commenting on it in my past few videos, so I had to share. Hope you enjoy!!

Your hair is simply gorgeous, and SUPER thick! I wish I could brush my hair like that. The Denman and similar brushes seem to just pull out too much of my hair. I must finger detangle, them wide tooth comb, THEN gently brush. Forget using the tail comb except on the very ends. My hair is just so fine, But I love your channel and wash & go routine..maybe I’ll actually TRY it one day!

Hi aisha!! New subbie here! I love your vibe and demonstration for your wash and go routine. I too have type 4 hair (4a/b) , and ive finally mastered the wash and go after 8+ years of being natural😩😩 i will be trying the banding method to elongate my hair because shrinkage is real. I recently have started to encorporate the denman brush and gel during this entire quarantine for my wash and gos, and it has changed the game! I am never looking back. I air dryed at the beginning of quarantine, but i love how fast the hooded dryer dries my hair. i hope to follow you and gain some tips! Thanks for sharing!❤️

I agree with air drying a wash and go. I stopped with diffusing wet hair because it would suck all of the moisture I initially put in out my hair.
Yeah I realized it’s the best method for preserving moisture!

Wow, I love your wash and go 🖤❤I feel like I have perfected mine too. I do mine in the shower when my hair is still wet. I do love it, but I do get some shrinkage. I am definitely going to try your way, I got a feeling I might get more length 😜

Hey Aisha, Good to see you are well and surviving the pandemic as we now try to get back to "normal", just about to do my first wash and go in a few months, I've been just washing and two strand twisting on my now medium short natural, since I work in surgery and have a scrub cap on anyway and I've been rocking scarves, which has been fun learning to tie( I've never worn them out as a style), but this video was right on time, and as always I usually gleam some good tips from you and apply to my own routine, so thanks much. I just found out that one of the ingredients in Aunt Jackie’s gelee products isn’t healthy. I just bought it and now I have to try and take it back. The chemical is called Aminomethyl propanol. I bought the coconut curl boss because my local store didn’t have the flaxseed one. The flaxseed one has the same unhealthy chemical which is used in relaxers. I wanted to share this with you because I know that you’re also on a healthy hair journey that very similar to my own and I’m sure that you weren’t aware of this troubling problem. I WAS SHOCKED 😳

Your hair looks like mine and I've always been told I have 4a/4b curls.
No she is definitely type 4a/b my hair is 3c and it is completely different. Type 4a still has curls but more larger coils than 4b/c.
I'm gonna try the rat tail comb technique the next time I attempt a wash and go. I also want to try the Aunt Jackie's. I stopped trying wash and go's because I knew I hadn't found the right product for my hair.

Have you tried adding the oil after the leave in and then applying the gel? For me this works super. You have a beautiful crown

Not sure if someone asked but how long doesn’t your wash & go last? Is it okay to have it last 4 or 5 days & washing it again? M type 4 high porosity hair. Not sure if I’m 4c or 4b. Probably both lol
