Tbh I think he’s the member with the best techniques in Up10tion. Like, they all can sing well, but Hwanhee really controls his voice well for a rookie. He might not have an extraordinarily natural high voice like Sunyeol, but he can still hit high notes with the help of his good technique. That really is very important. A natural high pitched voice is a benefit, but when you can reach those high notes purely with technique, it’s very impressive. Although it's a shame he was abit nervous, which made his voice less stable than usual.

I think he may be the only one in the industry, but I haven't done my research so I don't know for sure. The fact that he's different sounding than anyone else is what brought him so much attention. Yes, his technique is good too, but it's really his natural ability to hit high notes that made him distinct. And Hwanhee is just another tenor voice in the industry. It may be my personal favorite, but it's still one of many. I think that's why people only know about Sunyoul. I also hope Hwanhee gets more recognition, and not just because of his similitude to Baekhyun, but as a singer and as an artist. Just as himself, honestly. He's so adorable

i'm an exol and been following up10tion since their debut days on their first song "So Dangerous" his voice is so similar to baekhyun sometimes i even forgot that the one who sang that was Up10tion lol and apparently Hwanhee's role model is Baekhyun. Both have the same birthday and blood type too they're actually amazing, but so underrated
But he really does sound like Baekhyun and even Ha Sungwoon. Just a little more polishing hun. It may be just the nerves that made his voice sound shaky but I know this kid can really really sing.
