This Totally RULES! That surprise break was beautiful and show that Christian metal isn't just screaming about God. It's truly beautiful that glorifies God.
YES! I was hoping you'd react to this one. I've been a fan of Wolves at the Gate since their second album and they never fail to make me truly FEEL the love of God. This song is the most beautiful worship song I've ever heard. The finale of the song is truly how I imagine heaven's worship sounds like. The anthem of heaven, most certainly! If I could recommend a song or two, I definitely recommend checking Theocracy's "Mirror of Souls" or "I AM", as well as TesseracT's "Juno" or "Utopia". Theocracy is a Christian progressive power metal band (and one of my long-time favorites) while TesseracT isn't a Christian band, but their vocalist is a Christian and their lyrics tend to reflect that.
I absolutely LOVE this song! However, one thing I’d like to say is that, yes the ending is EPIC but after a couple play throughs, it does get repetitive. BUT, they also did a “live” EP with certain songs from this album called “Eulogies (Live Sessions)” and for this song, I’m guessing they realized this because in the ending, they added the chorus alongside “Worthy is the Lamb that was slain” to make it EVEN MORE EPIC and at the same time fixing my only complaint. WATG has been my favorite band since I was a freshman in hs and since then I have grown to love EVERY. SINGLE. SONG. that they have produced. Of course some songs are better than others, but I have grown to appreciate and love every song. They are the only band that i can listen to for hours and not get bored (I was actually in their top 0.001% of listeners on Spotify in 2022 cuz I’d just listen to a playlist I made with all their songs on repeat)
I have a special request. I recently buried the love of my life. I am so broken right now. 😔 Would you please do 2 songs in his honor? 1. Dancing In The Sky, by Dani and Lizzy. (My message to him) 2. There Was Jesus, by Dolly Parton and Zach Williams, (God's reminder that we're never alone) Thank you.
Oh Kimberly, my heart and prayers are definitely with you during this unimaginably difficult time. If you don't mind, I'd like to leave some verses to mediate over: Romans 8:38‐39 Romans 15:13 Joshua 1:9 John 14:27 Psalm 73:26 1 Peter 5:7 Psalm 23 (always such a comfort) Isaiah 26;3 Psalm 34:18 (my favorite Psalm. It got me through the death of someone close to me) Psalm147:3 Lamentations 3:31-33 John 16:22 If you need a community that you can talk to, grieve with, worship with rejoice and laugh with please join us: Please join la Familia on Discord discord.gg/G2k6kt3c7S
This was pretty good. But Wolves At the Gate is pretty good, so yeah. By the way there's some older rock, metal I think you and some of La Familia would like but is better for blocked party than an individual "reaction". . . especially Brenda.
Hey bro! Love the sound of the song, seminary student and before anything else, devoted follower of Christ Jesus. As you probably know, one of the biggest challenges we face in the world is being faithful to scripture even when it’s counter-cultural. We certainly always want to make sure our theology and doctrine are sound if we’re going to be embracing it, and that applies to more than music. In the internet, I wish there was more commentary on the actual meaning behind the lyrics of the song. Like I said I love the sound but I’m getting thrown off by certain lines like “ the first note of the melody has rung out, too much of the divine”. I’m just confused what they mean by that and how you can have too much of the divine? Also, statements like “you filled us with screams of symphonic pain” I’m just trying to reconcile with scripture and don’t really understand what he’s talking about.. thanks 🤍
I get goosebumps every time i hear this part. WORTHY IS THE LAMB THAT WAS SLAIN FOR THE SINS OF THE WORLD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Nope…not my style…no idea about the lyrics
Definitely read the lyrics at least, they're very beautiful.
Hey girl! Do you want me to add a lyric vid?
