I absolutely hate that SM literally bought almost every song Girls' Generation had. It's so fucking ridiculous, why don't they just make their own God damn music for a change? Or even let their artists co-create and co-write their music just like JYP and YG do? So fucking ridiculous.
Honestly, why are you so mad? Idols are never required to make songs. SNSD are so high up that if they wanted to compose, they could. After all, SM let Jonghyun compose. Maybe they just aren't good at creating songs, but instead are talented at singing/dancing, the only things they are required to do. So to make a good, public-friendly, worthy song, SM just made smart decisions. Plus, the song turned out great and matched Taeyeon's voice so why the hate? I get that it's your opinion, and all, idk I just felt like I had to reply :/

The issue here isn't that they're buying songs but that literally almost EVERY song of theirs is bought. I don't hate SM for it, I just feel like it would be nicer to see the other sides of their idols through their music not just sing and dance to a song.
Like you said, they let Jonghyun and Amber compose their own music and they were both huge hits so why do they always hold their idols back and don't let them make their own music? And it's impossible that none of their idols are creative. I'm sure their best singers wrote tons of stuff but SM holds them back.
