Gadsby's | your local bakery at Lincolnshire Co-op

We run our very own bakery - Gadsby’s, based in Southwell near Newark. The team produce a huge range of baked goods including bread, cakes and Lincolnshire treats like plum bread.
While some large scale bakeries have opted for the cheaper and faster modern processes of finishing cakes and baked goods, Gadsby’s is a firm believer in adding the personal touch.
From mixing to proving, baking and finishing, the processes still rely on the skills and craft of their bakers.
The bakery supplies all of our food stores with fresh goods with the furthest distance from the bakery to a store being less than 70 miles.
