@@Nashharis8758 Sorry maybe I'm misunderstanding something, I was asking about that white plug that's hanging from wiring from Tacoma wheel, can't that be plugged into Cruise control plug of original 4runner cruise control?
@@eugenen5953 ha I see what you're saying. No, because you only have one connection switch for the 4runner. You have to pin the wires for the cruze control. It's kind of hard to explain over the keyboard but if you follow the process in this video you should be just fine. One thing I do want to say, couple of the steering wheel buttons don't work. I just couldn't figure out where they should go.

Is your vehicle V6 or V8? I have the same car with V8 engine but it is only a 4wd is there any option or parts to change so i can make it a switchable ?? Thanks
Thanks bud, I have a lot more videos but need to find time to put them together and post. Mine is a V8 and this option was included from the factory. I'm sure there's a way to add/replace the module which is under the glove box but you'll also need to replace a ton of wiring and probably buy a whole new wiring harness and will cost you a fortune. I say best leave be brother lol
@@Nashharis8758 thanks for the quick reply, actually i live in Dubai and the parts here are cheap but i need a guide or a link to know the exact part that i need to get and how to install them to make it 2wd switchable as i checked many time in the market we dont get a 2 wheels drive 4runner here and overall this car is rarley to find because it is imported from USA.
This is great! I noticed you have a different style head unit I’ve installed an android one as well but I had difficulty connecting it to the steering wheel controls. I could never determine the three wires used for that. If you have any knowledge around the wires I would definitely appreciate it
Nelson, I would have to mess with it myself lol I can't advice anything buddy I really would need to see your set up and what you have for the head unit. I can tell you the one I have needed no complications to set it up, customized it the way I wanted each key to work.

Yes, most used parts seller will separate the airbags from the wheels. But, before I purchased the wheel, I sent a message to the seller and he sold me the matching bag as well.
Did you buy a Tacoma airbag or a 4Runner airbag ? I'm asking because I'm thinking of buying a 2008 4Runner that did the same upgrade but the airbag light is on. He used the Tacoma airbag. @@Nashharis8758
Hey nash im currently doing this mod to my 4runner also but with a 2018 steering wheel, i could really use ur help to find out what cables need to be re-routed since mine has difrent colored cables and i think it has 2 or 3 more than what you came across

Yes, the 4runners have their own plug in. Tacoma is wired with the rest.

Separately. Most sellers will separate them, but if you message them, they might have both.

@@Bimmerrx7 did you figure the volume control out? Do I need to add resistor or can I connect volume control wires directly to Atoto?

Besides that ive only figured out where to rewire the cruise control cables and horn cable

did the same upgrade and got all steering wheel controls functioning accept that they wont illuminate. WTF, HELP.
So the red wire is for the lights. Did you put that in the right location? If yes, check and see if it's all the way in and snug in the connector.

how did you get the wire into the connector without the right pins?
They simply snap on and off with the pin removal tool. Also, the pins are alike. Just needed to relocate a few.
What lights were flashing? And did you figure out how to reset them?
Yes, they are for the master cylinder. Will post a video about it once I get a chance to fix it.
