There are a few things wrong with keeping a 99% progress of opening the gates, which cause players in chase can't make it for escape, dying players can't escape (not getting close to the escape line can't force the killer to carry them), etc. But for example, if the killer has a perk like NOED, we should keep the 99% progress to earn some time to cleanse the totem. And I keep the gate until a player is hooked once if the killer may have Blood Warden. It's just my opinion 🙂

Am I not understanding how hyperfocus works? Wouldn't you always run fogwise with it if you're going to have to hit great checks each time?
Or rather Fogwise would go well with Stake Out because Stake Out can turn Good into Great skillchecks 😃
