I was shocked over 16 years ago when I saw that banner was the last shadow rider, couldn’t believe it!! Btw very impressive how amnael knew that Jaden summoned bubbleman on his 1st turn that he had aqua spirit in his hand and was ready to counter it with elemental absorber
and the spirits card that Amneal used for elemental absorber were the Japanese card design

The best part is that this isn't actually a duel, it's a lesson. If you listen to what Bannael says, it's clear he has no intention of actually winning, and just wants to get Jaden to learn to think outside the box, and stop relying on the same tired, old strategies he's been using all season. Hell, even his strategy (bring out a ton of weaklings whose destruction powers up the boss) is designed specifically to get Jaden to think strategically and stop focusing on awesome one-on-one showdowns between the hero and the villain; fusion summoning would leave him at a distinct disadvantage, since a swarm of weak monsters is better for dealing with the weaklings, _but_ then he'd be a sitting duck for the boss that gets stronger with each massacred minion. Pretty smart, overall.
Kaiba knew what he was doing when he got teachers for his dueling Academy. Banner was thinking very strategically.
I just realised Jayden always using elemental monsters and Banner always teaching alchemy(which is the magic/science of manipulating elements to create or deatroy others)...It was bound to happen.

I have them. I have a whole deck of The Alchemy Beasts with all the tweaks worked out. I got them from Gaia Oricards. Check out his channel’s video on the deck, he’s a true artist. Konami should hire him

@@Fleghm88Well, the drawing card can only be activated when you have no cards in your hand.
Amnael's deck was recently released for speed dueling with a skill card called "professor of alchemy".
With that card you can summon the alchemy beasts but they only come as tokens with attributes matching the monsters you banish from your hand.
There is also another alchemy themed archetype in the form of the eldlich support cards known as the"eldlixirs".
That explains how powerful his deck was base of alchemy.

There a handful of other cards that can work very well with the alchemy beast tokens, but they're not legal in speed duels
The moment you realise that the Slifer Red dorm master is a better duelist than the Obelisk Blue dorm master.
Thats because eldlich is probably supposed to be a necromancer or lich, i like that deck a lot just for the theme alone, i think i will add some alchemy cards to it maybe

Actually, there are multiple situations where summoning multiple monsters in one turn are 100% acceptible
The biggest giveaways are as follows :
-acting shady
-connection to occult
-avoid showing deck
-they opened 3 gates after 2 fights in this episode without ahowing the origin of the 3rd key

Still in 2024. Professor Banner was always Mysterious, interesting humor, why he became a shadow rider as well the final one, alot of knowledge of the abandoned Dorm, his deck and its structure.
Sad he is no more of this world.

I actually think Burstinatrix looks more attractive in the censored version. It makes all her forms better shaped and equally presented, not like before when you just starred at the breast and forget the rest of her. She, as a whole, looks very well designed and can be fully admired now.

I know I remember back in junior high when duel monsters first came out we weren't allowed to summon some many monsters at once, then again back then we could summon any level we wanted lol
In all honesty 3 monsters on the first turn is probably pretty restrained, especially if you're playing any sort of combo deck
it's also funny because that's the whole point of the new Yugioh show in Disney.

I'm guessing he trucked Chazz or someone that Banner was dead and challenge him double or nothing for both keys.
Maybe since the key was just flat out given to him he didn’t have to duel for it?
Likely he arranged for Atticus to have it as he took his soul too. While taking him to get Alexis was a valid strategy this would have made the most of that strategy.
Amnel is pretty tough, but damn those cards can't be used in play.
Professor Banner was Jaden's Teacher and Friend and in the end he was trying to prepare him for his toughest opponents in the future.
Banner/amnael was the seventh and last of the shadow riders to face.
But be ready his monster deck was powerful.

And the most ridiculous. The entire premise of his deck relies on the fact that he has a card that goes anywhere from +1 to +9
There's no way out of his whole deck, banner had ALL the cards he needed to pull of those combos.
Ok i didn't expect lector's theme to be reused at 19:37 because it's a soundtrack 4kids isn't likely to reuse in gx but it's AWESOME! 🤯😃 But personally it think they could have also reused it when jaden dueled that ghost jinzo, kind of a missed opportunity that would have been so cool.

to this day 19:44 im still trying to find the name of this track. it debuted in the 3rd season of yu-gi-oh. 1 with leichter vs kaiba at the end of part 1 with satellite cannon locking on to kaiba. again with the big 5 sharing tristan's body against yugi and joey when leichter decided to take over the duel after nesbitt's blunder and when they summoned the five headed dragon. other times when gozaboro's voice was finally revealed and his departure after stating his plans of turning the world virtual,yami marik's duel against joey and atem. also in joey's duel against valon.
