I’ve had a hard time listening to the words of prophets and apostles lately, it brings up feelings of pain and anxiety. I felt prompted to click on this video, and while there a was a small bit of anxiety, I mainly feel so much peace watching this. Thank you so much. I know my Heavenly Parents and Savior care for me. This talk is so beautiful & touched my heart at the perfect time! I can not express with more love how much I love, cherish, obey, & am eternally grateful to my Savior & Heavenly Father for loving me so much. I will always follow there ways & do their will til my last breath....God bless us all!!! I love this true gospel....we are beyond blessed!!!!!
We are here in life to learn contrast, including the contrasts of joy and sorrow. Success in the professional world often requires us to live day to day above all emotion, as by principle. Setbacks today are tomorrow’s stepping-stones of opportunity. We want to feel joy, but emotions are not necessarily joy. Achievement brings joy and the path to gold can be paved with painful setbacks and deprivations.
Great talk. I have been prompted to ask a QED in my Youth Sunday School class each week on a topic relevant to the lesson! Really looking forward to doing the research for this! :)
