he is amazing, now why does he uses the snare so low? look the distance between the hats and the snare my god. how is he not hitting his knees all the time?
It seems like it might ergonomic for traditional grip bc it's lower so you could milk more power out of your stroke just do to gravity but I imagine it would be hard to rimshot with it that low.
I could watch this cat all day long .
He's an octopus with 8 drum sticks!!!! So fast & so fluid!!!
Those are the longest sticks I've seen.
Goodness me!!! 😮
that snare is lower than rappers pants in 2000 and he still get the rimshot wow
No rimshots ?
I wouldn't be able to play without a barrage of rimshots every ten seconds.
🤣🤣🤣
Gracefully done.
Finally a young drummer, using traditional grip. " Thank God"!!!
How young do you think he is?
@@jonp4846 lol
Rod has been around a while dude
He definitely looks young...but Rod has been around a while and has to be in his 50's...
You all miss the point.
I watched him play like this at a Club in NYC 25 years ago. I think they were called the Hermanators. He was killng it back then.
