Hyderabad Metro Rail - The first Run

The 27.6 km stretch from Miyapur to Nagole was constructed by L&T, having 24 stations, was inaugurated on 28 November 2017
by the Prime Minister Narendra Modi.The services were open to Public only on 29th November 2017 when the first
service ran at 6 AM from Major stations such as Nagole, Miyapur, Secunderabad East and Ameerpet.No other rapid transit metro service in India opened for public operations on such a long stretch.Groundbreaking for the project was conducted on 26 April 2012. The speciality of the Metro includes Driver less Cabin for Driving the Train, Bicycles provided at stations for 30 mins in order to complete any work and get back to the station.
