Parizaad is a word used for someone who is pretty like a pari/fairy.... It's literal meaning is "Child of a fairy"...If I am not wrong this drama is written by Hashim Nadeem who wrote Khuda aur Mohabbat...Because I have read a novel named Parizaad by him and in that novel the guy is ugly and that's why people hate him so his mom names him Parizaad because she wants people to know that her child is beautiful like a fairy...This story revolves around that guy

I would recommend you to watch this drama. Very nice drama. I usually don't watch Pakistani drama, I've watched just few dramas, it doesn't mean that I don't like Pak dramas or they are not good. I usually watch Turkish and k dramas sometimes other too.
Me bohot arse k baad Pakistani drama dekh rahi hoon, ehd e wafa ke baad se. Meine socha k Parizad dekh a shruu karon gi aur bht hi acha faisla kiya. I thought that I've missed a lot of Pakistani famous dramas but this I will watch Parizad.

The actor who is playing the role of Parizad, his name is Ahmed Ali akbar he was also in ehd e wafa, he was saad's friend in ehd wafa. He is a wonderful and very handsome. I don't how made him look like that. But we can't judge a person from his/her appearance and this is also one of the theme of this drama. Ahmed Ali Akbar is underrated, he deserves more but this drama will show his real acting.

Saying all dramas are" shadi and sas baho "are wrong...Pakistani dramas with unique story line are not rare ...some examples are sang-e- murmur...aangan (period play) and other aangan ...ishq jalebi( a lot more than just a love story) and many others .....this of course is a big production and ll be a master piece ...the novelist in Pakistan are excellent...ahmed iqbal ...mohiyud deen nawab ...and many others...
