    We are both the baby in our families. Yet I am the more "responsible". Yet very thankful for my hubby working full time.
    He was raised with a single strong mom so he doesn't help me like they're talking. I doooo want him to help me:/

    My dad always taught me, "You need to know how to do this, but you shouldn't have to do this." Whenever it came to a role that a man typically filled (i.e. changing the oil, changing a tire, shoveling, etc.) I think this is something we should teach our daughters--teaching this to our daughters shows them from the start that they are competent and capable, and it allows them to have that confidence when their husbands are being chivalrous and fulfilling their roles as providers.
