- A big earthquake hit the Noto region of Ishikawa Prefecture on January 1.
The area where we live was also shaken greatly, but all of our family members are safe and sound.
Thank you for your concern.
The year 2023 was a very busy year for us.
This time last year, I never thought I would be celebrating New Year's in Nagano.
A quiet and happy New Year's Eve spent with just the three of us as a family.
I hope my family will be happy again in 2024.

We are a family of three who quit a company and migrated to an old private house in the foothills of the Northern Alps.
Nagano, which we visited while traveling in a camper we purchased at the end of our 30s.
The Northern Alps attracted us and we decided to migrate there.
In November 2023, we started our life in the land of our dreams.
I hope you enjoy watching Ayako, her husband Shin, and their daughter Yuri live a leisurely and comfortable life in a place they are not accustomed to.
