Hey I’m Josh from Adelaide, South Australia. I'm a proud father of 3 and passionate about heavy music.
I was the bass player for post-hardcore/alternative rock group Capulet from 2004-2012, releasing an album, EP and several demos.
Capulet were signed to Red Bull and the Taperjean Music Group alongside Closure in Moscow and The Mission in Motion.
Highlights of my music career were playing with amazing bands like Anberlin, Emery, Scary Kids Scaring Kids, Haste the Day, Awaken I Am, and touring Australia several times.
I wasn’t the most technical bass player, but lived for performing on stage. I have always loved the process of song writing and the visual art that accompanies music.

I love this version so much. Vessel sounds absolutely wounded. I get chills every time I hear it.

Can we just take a moment to appreciate what a great lyricist Vessel is. Honestly, this guy is so talented it's ridiculous.

If this performance doesn’t touch your soul, you don’t have one. Pure raw emotion and it bleeds through the entire performance
The live performance video he actually has his back to the audience and his mask off. The rawness in that is heavier emotionally than the track version of the room below - blood sport really does a number on Vessel 😢

I’ve watch a lot of reaction videos and you were the first person to have that “somewhere” crushed me. Anyone who’s felt hurt feels this. No matter the genre.
It’s not even a “hurt”, it’s a crushing of soul and heart(likely to never recover). But I’m just drunk in feels I don’t want to feel anymore. That was death and anguish vocalized.

i feel like this is always the one i introduce to people after they heard a few ST songs. cause once you semi buy into what they do. IF they have any soul at all this one will hook them. A amazing performance and everytime i hear it, it gets me. words sometimes cant express...

There's two versions that Vessel literally SOBS during the ending verse The Visualizer and the one recorded at Layfette. Saw them live at Louder Than Life in September and i MUST see them do a headliner, I'd love for itto be an intimate setting like the Lafayette. SO much talent and pain....Quite literally makes my mama bear come out....I wanna destroy whomever hurt him but that is my 56 year old mama bear reaction.

The other From The Room Below songs are amazing, 1 original and 2 covers- 1 Billie Eilish and 1 Whitney Houston, not crazy about the Whitney Houston one tho.
This is obviously amazing. But I prefer the original. I like the added emotion of the drums. But I get why people love this raw version.
