- Today we explore this 7 bed manor house owned by the late Diane. This house was split into 2. it stunk, but the smell was worth it. We hope you enjoy this explore.

The stained glass windows are amazing in the front entrance.
I don’t think they were heavy drinkers otherwise you would only find empty bottles

@@BackInTimeMC I went there last Thursday with an exploring friend of mine and all the windows were boarded up and the side gate was locked tight, there was a sign on the board saying keep out property is under surveillance. We tried 3 house's that day one in Leicester which had been locked up and cleared out we then went to the one some call Alex's house and that was locked up and in the process of being cleared out, i drove nearly 500 miles that day and all we got was fails 😬 it's just how it goes sometimes.

Wonder what happened to the the brother 🤔 i was expecting a cat 🐈 to jump out from somewhere sometime the pets are left behind not because people don't care about them sometime they just find there way back even if they been rescued huge big house so many different kinds of rooms its like they all belongd to different people i suppose its possible they were rented out i loved the fancy screen behind one of the double beds being used as a headboard Another great find both .

This lady was a veritable book worm 🐛 wasn't she? I wonder if there are any 'legal eagles' among your subscribers who can tell me what actually happens when there is no one to inherit a house such as this one? Is it literally left to rot? What about the final electric account, gas, council tax etc etc? A once lovely home this was and an educated lady living within!!! Thank you guys. Gill

There was a strange noise at 30:46…could have been a bird noise.
At the end is that just dust coming from the music box or orbs.
The print of the nude woman in the bedroom that you referred to as "rude" is titled "Iris Tree" by Amedeo Modigliani, an Italian Jewish artist, one of the finest of sculptors and painters. Sometimes you have to look at a painting, study it, and a story will unfold increasing your appreciation of fine art. You may see another story unfold with subsequent studies. You may not care for the style or subject but you may see, appreciate a piece of work like the "Iris Tree". The younger generation needs to embrace nudity, sensuality and not be embarrassed or offended. Other explorers have tended to be embarrassed quickly scanning nudes... 😂😉

Great to see you guys back again. I always enjoy your explores, done in detail and with great respect. It’s a sad story about Diana and her brother, who lived in this house. It’s so sad that there are no relatives to inherit the house, which has some very nice and interesting contents. It’s Strange that there is still power connected after this time. Perhaps the light is a deterrent to would be looters who would be intent on trashing the house and raiding it for valuables. I think that the wind chimes might have been to warn Diana if anyone was entering the room. The tins which said Glenlivet, were containers for bottles of Scottish malt whisky, a good quality one. These tins are quite collectible now, especially if they contain full bottles! This house deserves to be saved and lovingly restored. I once was a happy home and it could potentially be again.She was obviously a decent and devoutly religious person. She will be be richly rewarded in Heaven.RIP Diana and Gilbert.

The thing you thought might be a mixer is for doing your washing by hand. You fill it with hot water & your clothing & turn the handle to agitate the laundry. The pressure of it being sealed tight is supposed to help get the clothes clean too. Its just a handy way to do small amounts of washing without using a machine. People usually stand them on the draining board when they use them.
I think diana and her brother had very good taste and enjoyed a good book and perhaps a glass of wine 🍷.

It maybe worth looking into it and see if she has cousins or something, it maybe easy to locate them if she has an uncommon surname . It’s a shame the house is left abandoned I would adore to live somewhere so lovely .

An amazing find. I love how you show so much detail it makes for a fascinating explore and your
filming skills are brilliant. I think those windchimes were placed strategically as an alarm system to let the lady know if any intruders got in. One was placed close to the front door, I doubt she kept her front door open to enjoy the chimes so I imagine they were there as an alarm bell type device.
Sometimes people use windchimes as a means to wake them if a relative with dementia starts wondering about.
That stained glass in the hallway is lovely.
The owner might have let out part of the house to give them an income.
If you have several cats you need to have several litter trays to prevent fights. I think that after the lady died the cats might have been shut in the house untill they were taken to be rehomed. Hopefully they were happily rehomed, at least they were not left there to starve.
People also use strategically set mirrors as well

Hi Meg and Chris. Hope you are feeling better Chris and you are coping with the patient Meg. What a lovely house. I've come to the conclusion that people of a certain age have lots of books because they inherit their relations books as they are handed down. I have quite a few old books that were my great grandparents, grandparents and parents (don't think my daughter or grandson will want them though). The white thing in the 2nd kitchen you thought was a mixer is a butter churner I think. Great explore thank you. Keep well xxxx

I've seen a number of these kinds of videos & the way I see it is if a place has been abandoned like this for more than 5 years there ain't No One coming to get this stuff so it's fair game. Just Saying

At 31:10 when you quickly pan left to the bookcase with glass doors omg look CLOSELY..either a tarantula or a rat moves and then rehides between the books!! What was it?

House of the reading lamps, never seen so many. Chimes would annoy me inside a house been tall lol. Don't make sense seeing lights on unless someone is gradually sorting through it, they'd need a 🕷 buster 🤭

I love dating things that modern TV is a bit out of place, probably her last TV. The beta-max machine cant be later than 1986, they stooped making them for the domestic market then. I'd bring that tin of fruit back to the shop definitely shouldn't leak that quickly. Finlay a St Bridget's cross an a few other things would indicate membership or the Roman Catholic Cult. This was really a fascinating place. The place was absolutely packed! Unbelievable! Would’ve been interesting and it’s day. Obviously love to read and travel cook and garden. Loved animals or at least cats. And lots of art. The book house! I absolutely adored the stain glass all the way. Was so pretty. Didn’t really care for the modern art. Didn’t fit the house at all. But they had different tastes in art. How strange to have two kitchens. I really don’t understand this house much at all. But I liked it definitely liked your video. Meg must’ve had a blast photographing everything there was so many bits and bobs! Play as always with love from California💜🎃😎🇺🇸😘👻

Really liking the extra information at the beginning of your more recent videos guys. It really does help to set the scene wherever you are. The most extraordinary thing I saw in the first part of the house was that metal insect ?ornament. That looked really detailed but a bit creepy! I've never seen another anything like it. Like you I loved that first bedroom. It was a great size and shape and felt so comfortable. Nice art work too. And the teddies were heart-breaking, sitting in a line on the bed. Who loved those in the past? This house belonged to a lady with a very full life.What about that beautiful wooden screen behind one of the beds. Wow! Such a lovely explore and shame the smell wasn't too good! I think someone there had lived in the Far East because of lots of the artefacts. We all love you too, and yes, I'm very happy!
