    You
Just for explanation. My chevy cruze 2012 1.8 kept bubbling and spitting out the reservoir and I changed cap changed the pump thermostat tried blue devil...nothing worked. The actual engine wasn't overheating. After all that I changed the whole reservoir tank and it stopped so I think it was letting air in through the exit valve on the reservoir tank. 4 or 5 mechanics didn't figure this out before it was finally done and repaired with a cheap tank. Thought people might want to know since there is no video on that.

The 65 Chevy corvair was an awesome looking car. Looked like a midsize 1965 Chevy impala. The corvair had an air-cooled engine and came with the option of “twin turbos.”
They were later heavily criticized as being unsafe and pretty much seen as problem laden cars. Yet, I saw many customers get 20-30 yrs use out of them. Air-cooled so no need for coolant nor a radiator. They were a dime a dozen in the 80s but try to find one now?

Informative but I have a case where antifreeze is boiling out of the overflow tank after about 5 minutes of operation but you can squeeze both upper and lower hoses from the radiator as they are barely warm. Supposedly the water pump has been changed recently. 2012 1.8L FFV.

Because, when i turn off the a/c the radiator fan will turn off in couple minutes. I don't see turning again. Any answer is highly appreciated. And by the way i am talking about a 2014 Chevy Cruze 1.8. Thanks.

I have a 2013 Cruze with the 1.4 Turbo. It will run at normal operating temp for a 10 minute drive and then start to climb in temp and fluctuate down and back up as the thermostat opens, I imagine. Then it spikes to 260+. I can stop and shut it off and on several times and then it will rapidly drop back to normal operating temp. We have changed the thermostat, radiator, both temp sensors and the water outlet. It also shows negative on the chemical test for blown head gasket. Thoughts?

Change your knock sensor or use 93 octane don't be a cheapskate. Plastic breaking at 100k?? What you expect from plastic. Transmisión failure?? Water pump change, thermostat change, thermpature sensor change, radiator checking it is good. Fan works well. The service says have bad circulation.
