In hindsight, the Ravens might have some regrets about paying OBJ instead of DeAndre Hopkins last offseason, but Beckham proved in Baltimore he can get deep and stay healthy for a season. He just wasn’t always on the same page as Lamar Jackson and lost some playing time by the end of the year.

Hopefully Odell can stay healthy and still produce. It's tough to keep it going as the injuries start to pile up. 2017 broken ankle missed 12 games, 2018 thigh contusion missed 4 games, 2019 hernia that he played through then had off-season surgery, 2020 ACL missed 9 games, 2021 shoulder sprain that he played through before the 2nd ACL tear in the Feb 2022 Super Bowl. That's a lot to come back from. They should probably plan to do some load management and not play him against crappy teams.
Lamar Jackson shouldn't let himself be easily swayed by them signing a guy who is a huge gamble to still produce and stay healthy after all the wear he's been through.

People don’t realize the influence of Todd Monken. OBJ’s last best season was with as OC. So I’m sure that will pay dividends in the long run. Hopefully a full offseason of rehab, rest and training will give us some glimmer of big play offensive options

A double edged move by the Ravens. The immediate impact is that it is going to make other teams even less interested in attempting to sign him - even after the draft- as they are going be more certain that he is just using them as a leverage play.

Ravens offered Jackson the 32 million non exclusive franchise tag which is 13 million cheaper that the exclusive tag. So if Jackson plays under the non exclusive tag, then in a sense, the Ravens got Beckham for a paltry 2 million.

Ravens defense gave up 13 points a game after trading for Roquan. If they get Flowers at 22 and add a cb then you may have to worry. Why would Odell care about Lamar being there? Lamar throws for less than 2500 yds a year. He throws for 20TD a year. Is that supposed to entice a WR to go there? Even taking into account the games Lamae has missed he only averages 174 YPG passing. This is 2023, not 1963. You wouldn't know it from his passing numbers though.

As an Eagles fan, since Lamar Jackson is being traded from the Ravens, then they can draft TCU QB Max Duggan to replace Lamar Jackson as the team's new starting QB for week 1 in 2023 next season. Then Max Duggan can play against Browns QB Deshaun Watson, Steelers QB Kenny Pickett and Bengals QB Joe Burrow. Max Duggan will be an perfect fit for the Ravens since Lamar Jackson will be traded anyway. Besides Max Duggan can run the football and can throw the cannon out of the football. I see Max Duggan in an Ravens jersey sold in stores so the Ravens will draft Max Duggan in the 1st round of the 2023 NFL Draft.
