My back log is horrible 500+ 🤦♂️ but since I got the 5 I haven’t worried about it and kind start fresh if that makes sense and play what I think is worth it and easy 😂

Yesterday I finished Cult of the Lamb which was fantastic. Probably ties with Ghost of Tsushima as my favorite game. I’m going to start Assasin’s Creed Origins this week. seeing you play gotham knights 😁 also funny thing you said you use to be in the 400's in the uk, i'm 398 atm but it will be gone in a couple of days and in the last 3months i've only played 7games Hades, New Tales from the Borderlands both stacks, Assassin's Creed Valhalla ps4 stack (i would never recommend playing this a second time, just because its so bloody long) Forspoken, Gotham Knights, The Quarry just finished and platted this today, all great games i would recommend to every and kinda all easy and fun plats

Never thought I'd be platting SotC on PS3 (so frustrating compared to PS4) and will trigger my last trophy in September so that it is exactly 10 years since my first SotC trophy haha.
I always enjoy your quarterly update videos. You certainly have a lot going on. I still just play one game at a time. Normally do one long game then two shorter games and just keep repeating that process. It breaks things up nicely. Over the last three months I have earned the platinums for Gotham Knights, The Ascent, Madison, Hades, The Devil In Me, Dead Space Remake, Bramble The Mountain King and Shadow Warrior 3. Making decent progress with Forspoken. I enjoyed the story missions and the side missions in Gotham Knights but a lot of the collectibles were a grind as they don’t get marked on the map. Having to complete 250 street crimes was also excessive. It was still a decent game overall but just not as good or as fun as the Batman Arkham games.
Like you, I am not a platforming pro, so Cuphead was definitely not 5/10. I had to really, really work for it. But if I did it, you can certainly plat it with a bit of practice. All the best!

Hi! I actually got the 2042 a couple weeks ago now! Hazard zone was annoying for sure but**** I have found if you are online between 12-4pm PST you can usually get a lobby with 8 people meaning both teams can extract. Took me about 3 days from zero I think :)
I really enjoyed cuphead, but after getting the A ranks for everything, I was so burnt out on it that I just decided not to play it on expert mode. I wouldn't feel too bad quitting on cuphead honestly...its not really my Forte either.
I’m getting closer and closer to slay the spire but it’s getting so hard. I only need three more trophies but I’ve put in 130 hours into so far. Also some of the trophies are so rng dependent on what cards you get it. Very rough

That empty trophy list for FFVII kinda hurts…I mean…you get a trophy within 30 seconds of the end of the first cutscene. Otherwise, in the same boat as you. Just want to play games. Currently working Crisis Core Reunion and The Knight Witch (twin stick shooter metriodvania).
I am currently at 291 Platinum trophies so I am well on course to reach my goal of 300 Platinum trophies by the end of this year. Over the last 3 months I have earned 13 Platinum trophies. The standouts of the 13 Plats are: 5/4/2023 Mia and the Dragon Princess - I love these choice based FMV games. 5/10/2023 The Innsmouth Case - Nice, quick mystery game. 5/28/2023 Nexomon - I am a huge Pokemon fan and this was a really great monster catching game. 6/6/2023 Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII - Reunion - I really loved the story and gameplay. Some of the RNG trophies were a little annoying. 6/16/2023 Murderous Muses - A mystery FMV game that I enjoyed enough to stack. 7/1/2023 Late Shift - A choice based heist FMV game. I played the PS4 version in 2017 so it was fun revisiting. 7/3/2023 Final Fantasy XVI - I really enjoyed the story, characters, and combat. This game is currently my personal Game of the Year!

I gave up on Skyrim for a while because all I need is thieves guide trophy but I have done 400 jobs and still don't have trophy and last time I did the same thing and that's why I started anoughther game starting 2belive will never get the trophy and it's all I need 4 plat

I think for video making purposes shorter games are the way to go so you can get content out faster whilst also maybe working on 1 longer game in the background but only 1 and not multiple like you're currently doing, it just overwhelms you.
I just finished the Burning Shores expansion for Horizon. Good addition to keep the main story going. I'm only focused on 2 other games. GTA San Andreas (PS4 version) backlog I just need to finish. And the grinding end of LEGO 2K Drive. Want to puch the person who thought 6,000 miles in game was a good idea.
@PlatinumBro Forbidden West improves and adds some good things from Zero Dawn. It's the overall story I like most but it's also a beautiful environment. Worth a play, Plat isn't difficult. I made that Plat my 400th you should make it your 500th unless you has something planned for that milestone.

Was wondering if you knew how to turn an existing ps5 platinum trophy capture video from 30 seconds to 15 while also keeping the trophy animation and pop in?
I've been grinding ps3 games too lately you forget how much quality they actually put into their games and didn't rush them like they do now. Yeah the graphics are ass and the frame rate is bad but i'd rather that and a quality game over an unfinished game.
I don't blame you for pausing/quitting Skyrim on console. Especially given what I know now about Skyrim's Engine that helps it run more smoothly. It's one of those games you shouldn't try to do everything in one playthrough. Think of it like inFAMOUS with a 'Good' and 'Evil' playthrough, so one where you do the Thieves Guild, Escape from jail, do all the Daedric Quests and then the Dark Brotherhood. And a good playthrough where you do the Mage's College quests, become Jarl of the Nine Holds, The companions questline, resolve the civil war etc. Maybe do the DLC trophies on those playthroughs too, like Vampire/Werewolf Perks in the evil playthrough from Dawnguard.
I know how you feel Lewis, i am on my 176 platinum's myself and i am beginning to not enjoy gaming anymore because i feel i have to plat everything. I've also missed out on some great games because of trophies, so i have now made a pack with myself, get black ops cold war platinum done then that's it for me I'm checking out i will only plat games i really enjoy like god of war etc.
Yeah finding the balance is important. Platinum trophies just aren’t as important to me as they once were, I think it’s normal for your hobbies to change

I'm currently on 93 and aiming to reach 100 before the end of the year. Just plat Returnal, which I enjoyed despite the RNG for the collectibles. Currently playing My Friend Pedro. I suck at platforming but thought I'd give it a try. Staying away from Cuphead for my sanity so good luck with it and your path to reaching 500 platinums.
I've been watching you for so long and damn. You have come so far. Congrats! You and a few others got me super into platinum hunting about a year or maybe 2? (COVID really screwed up my time tbh) ago.
In june i was mostly focused on just cause 4 and raiden 5. They were both more grindy then anything and now im doing hot wheels unleashed and megaman battle network legacy collection vol 1, the former is kind of a grind but the later i kind of have to do it peacemeal as its has 4 15 hour rpgs shared by 1 list and i have bn 1 and bn2 trophies done already(these games kind of started doing the pokemon thing where theres 2 versions starting with bn3) and megaman battle network vol 2 is even more grindy has 6 games and you have to almost 100% 1 version of battle network 4(which requires 3 playthroughs and is the worst to 100%, and i still have to do 2 playthroughs of the other bn4 version for the souls) and do a huge chunk of 1 version of bn6 so its an easy 100 hour plat(bn collection 1 is half the length in comparison as only bn1 has to be done 100% and only bn 3 has multiple versions)
Awesome milestone. I'm nowhere hear you. You can do it. I just picked up the platinum for Dante's Inferno. Only took 13 years haha. I'm cleaning up some old games. It's pretty fun actually.
Sometimes the frustration with getting the platinum on certain games can get to you; it happens to the best (the evidence is in this video). For me the best way to get my mind back on the right track is to play games or get the platinum on games I really want to play (which means I will always keep some gems which I know are going to be both good and relatively easy ready to go).
I have so many games just sitting there that are like 80-90% complete on trophies need to f8nd the motivation to finish the platinums but some have been left that long chances are I’ve forgot how to 0lay properly lol

Midnight suns is great! Just finished the 100% myself. Here's a warning. The dlc trophies are bugged. Don't use the continue button from. The main menu. Always load your save from the load save option! Make backups! Or go back through in NG+ since you need 2 playthroughs

I understand you. I have started to not 100% games if they have annoying or stupid achievements and just play them for fun. Like recently I started playing through the Gear of Wars series. Always avoid them cause most take 500+ hours to 100% and GOW 5 take 1000+ hours

Ive spent way too much money on video games this year, some of which i didn't end up enjoying as much as i thought snd didn't get the platinum trophies (looking at you Monster Hunter Rise). Monster Hunter Rise is ths only game i just couldn't do the platinum trophy for. It demsned tok much from me snd doesn't respect my time.
Also hey heres a way to get a throphy in cuphead "bravo zulu p-26" yes thats the name of the throphy you enter king dices fight if you hit like 5-6 or 9 there will be a plane boss fight you need to defeat a boss with only mini plane bullets cause if you are in a mini plane mode by holding the triangle you will have a faster speed low range and also low damage and good luck on that throphy and also good luck on the expert dificulty cause you will get the expert dificulty by defeating the devil witch is the final boss on normal mode but you will always start on normal mode and after defeating him you will need to beat the game once again on expert what i mean is expert mode is giving all boses a mutch faster speed on attacks and might be new attacks youve never seen

The Cuphead run & gun trophies are possibly the hardest to get in the game imo. Stick at it though mate, when I got the platinum I felt 100 feet tall. I rarely look at a game now and think it’s going to be too hard for me 💪
Rooting for you on the cuphead platinum run done it myself but god it wasn’t a easy challenge the dlc does make it a little Easier thanks to ms Chalice being able to take 4 hits or more if you use her super abilities and do a roll that gives you I-frames - but still a challenge none the less
I've gotten 20 platinums this year and I'm not slowing down lol. Bioshock collection, the new tomb raider trilogy, doom, doom eternal, Edith finch, watch dogs 2, guardians of the galaxy, wolf among us, terminator resistance, the uncharted trilogy, fallout 4, and fallout new Vegas. Now I'm working on Fallout 3.
Awesome progress PlatBro 😊. I do enjoy these trophy progress check ins and what games you're currently playing. I feel your struggle with Cuphead though, honestly when i first started playing it i was so bad at it and I thought it'd be impossible for me to get the plat. But if you keep practicing eventually it just clicks into place, and it's really satisfying to see the improvements as you play. I believe you can do it! I think by the time I completed the game and the DLC I was on well over 2500 deaths 😅
I agree with your take on Elden Ring. I thought the Witcher 3 was the best game ever until I decided to platinum Elden ring. The world is amazing and the best part about the platinum experience is that there is nothing you have to do that doesnt give you some sort of in-game reward for it. Whether it’s a new ending or a massive sword. I never felt like I was grinding unnecessarily just to get a trophy. Best platinum I’ve done and it’s not close.
litterly looked at my trophies and had to kill phalaxis or however the dragons name is and it was complete absolutely love that game still pvp here and there.
I have pretty much the same situation with Battlefield 2042 as you do. Hope to get a boosting group soon as the devs reduced the minimum number of players in Hazard Zone to 8.
@@PlatinumBro as far as I know they have already reduced it to 8 with the recent patch. When you start the match it shows that you need 20 people to start, but after a while it drops to 8. The servers in my region (Asian) are dead, so it is really possible to boost.

Late to the game but check the PH levels of the soil for your plant as it may need more of something in the soil like nitrogen for example

Was wondering if you knew how to turn an existing ps5 platinum trophy capture video from 30 seconds to 15 while also keeping the trophy animation and pop in?
you can probably do it in the video settings, if not there then I don't know soz

I've been grinding ps3 games too lately you forget how much quality they actually put into their games and didn't rush them like they do now. Yeah the graphics are ass and the frame rate is bad but i'd rather that and a quality game over an unfinished game.
I don't blame you for pausing/quitting Skyrim on console. Especially given what I know now about Skyrim's Engine that helps it run more smoothly. It's one of those games you shouldn't try to do everything in one playthrough. Think of it like inFAMOUS with a 'Good' and 'Evil' playthrough, so one where you do the Thieves Guild, Escape from jail, do all the Daedric Quests and then the Dark Brotherhood. And a good playthrough where you do the Mage's College quests, become Jarl of the Nine Holds, The companions questline, resolve the civil war etc. Maybe do the DLC trophies on those playthroughs too, like Vampire/Werewolf Perks in the evil playthrough from Dawnguard.
I know how you feel Lewis, i am on my 176 platinum's myself and i am beginning to not enjoy gaming anymore because i feel i have to plat everything. I've also missed out on some great games because of trophies, so i have now made a pack with myself, get black ops cold war platinum done then that's it for me I'm checking out i will only plat games i really enjoy like god of war etc.
Yeah finding the balance is important. Platinum trophies just aren’t as important to me as they once were, I think it’s normal for your hobbies to change

As someone with ADHD I know how hard it is to stay focused with the way our head works. It's so hard to keep in one place or you focus too much on one thing but do nothing else

I'm currently on 93 and aiming to reach 100 before the end of the year. Just plat Returnal, which I enjoyed despite the RNG for the collectibles. Currently playing My Friend Pedro. I suck at platforming but thought I'd give it a try. Staying away from Cuphead for my sanity so good luck with it and your path to reaching 500 platinums.

In june i was mostly focused on just cause 4 and raiden 5. They were both more grindy then anything and now im doing hot wheels unleashed and megaman battle network legacy collection vol 1, the former is kind of a grind but the later i kind of have to do it peacemeal as its has 4 15 hour rpgs shared by 1 list and i have bn 1 and bn2 trophies done already(these games kind of started doing the pokemon thing where theres 2 versions starting with bn3) and megaman battle network vol 2 is even more grindy has 6 games and you have to almost 100% 1 version of battle network 4(which requires 3 playthroughs and is the worst to 100%, and i still have to do 2 playthroughs of the other bn4 version for the souls) and do a huge chunk of 1 version of bn6 so its an easy 100 hour plat(bn collection 1 is half the length in comparison as only bn1 has to be done 100% and only bn 3 has multiple versions)

Sometimes the frustration with getting the platinum on certain games can get to you; it happens to the best (the evidence is in this video). For me the best way to get my mind back on the right track is to play games or get the platinum on games I really want to play (which means I will always keep some gems which I know are going to be both good and relatively easy ready to go).

Midnight suns is great! Just finished the 100% myself. Here's a warning. The dlc trophies are bugged. Don't use the continue button from. The main menu. Always load your save from the load save option! Make backups! Or go back through in NG+ since you need 2 playthroughs

I understand you. I have started to not 100% games if they have annoying or stupid achievements and just play them for fun. Like recently I started playing through the Gear of Wars series. Always avoid them cause most take 500+ hours to 100% and GOW 5 take 1000+ hours

Ive spent way too much money on video games this year, some of which i didn't end up enjoying as much as i thought snd didn't get the platinum trophies (looking at you Monster Hunter Rise).

Also hey heres a way to get a throphy in cuphead "bravo zulu p-26" yes thats the name of the throphy you enter king dices fight if you hit like 5-6 or 9 there will be a plane boss fight you need to defeat a boss with only mini plane bullets cause if you are in a mini plane mode by holding the triangle you will have a faster speed low range and also low damage and good luck on that throphy and also good luck on the expert dificulty cause you will get the expert dificulty by defeating the devil witch is the final boss on normal mode but you will always start on normal mode and after defeating him you will need to beat the game once again on expert what i mean is expert mode is giving all boses a mutch faster speed on attacks and might be new attacks youve never seen

The Cuphead run & gun trophies are possibly the hardest to get in the game imo.
Stick at it though mate, when I got the platinum I felt 100 feet tall. I rarely look at a game now and think it’s going to be too hard for me 💪

Rooting for you on the cuphead platinum run done it myself but god it wasn’t a easy challenge the dlc does make it a little Easier thanks to ms Chalice being able to take 4 hits or more if you use her super abilities and do a roll that gives you I-frames - but still a challenge none the less

Now I'm working on Fallout 3.

Awesome progress PlatBro 😊. I do enjoy these trophy progress check ins and what games you're currently playing. I feel your struggle with Cuphead though, honestly when i first started playing it i was so bad at it and I thought it'd be impossible for me to get the plat. But if you keep practicing eventually it just clicks into place, and it's really satisfying to see the improvements as you play. I believe you can do it! I think by the time I completed the game and the DLC I was on well over 2500 deaths 😅

I agree with your take on Elden Ring.
I thought the Witcher 3 was the best game ever until I decided to platinum Elden ring. The world is amazing and the best part about the platinum experience is that there is nothing you have to do that doesnt give you some sort of in-game reward for it. Whether it’s a new ending or a massive sword.
I never felt like I was grinding unnecessarily just to get a trophy. Best platinum I’ve done and it’s not close.

litterly looked at my trophies and had to kill phalaxis or however the dragons name is and it was complete absolutely love that game still pvp here and there.
I have pretty much the same situation with Battlefield 2042 as you do. Hope to get a boosting group soon as the devs reduced the minimum number of players in Hazard Zone to 8.

@@PlatinumBro as far as I know they have already reduced it to 8 with the recent patch. When you start the match it shows that you need 20 people to start, but after a while it drops to 8. The servers in my region (Asian) are dead, so it is really possible to boost.

Nice throwbacks. I was going back too and getting plats for old fighting games, but I have looked at trophies since street fighter 6 came out 😅. It's scratching that competitive itch even though I can't physically get to tournaments these days
